Abstract: PURPOSE:To move an overhanging member into an overhanging posture without relating to other conditions, by operating a driving means so that the overhanging member is positioned at once in the overhanging posture by a command for moving the overhanging member in the overhanging posture. CONSTITUTION:An overhanging member 12 is switched by a switch SW2 in a control section 3 into an overhanging posture or into a retreated posture, and the movement of the overhanging member is stopped by a stopping switch SW3. When the movement of the overhanging member into the overhanging posture is commanded by the switches SW2 and SW3, the movement of the overhanging member into the overhanging posture is executed even when a grain-discharging means is operated and even when the volume of the remained grains is below a preset volume.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the residence of grains in a protruded part in the case of discharging grains from a tank even if the operation to retreat the protruded part is neglected. CONSTITUTION:A grain-storage tank 5 is provided with a protrusion part 12 which can be changed between a posture protruded outward and a posture retreated in the tank. The tank is also provided with a switch to change the protrusion part between the above two postures, a controlling means to drive a driving means D of the protrusion part 12 according to the command transmitted from the switch, a means 9 to discharge grains from the bottom of the tank and a means S1 for detecting the quantity of grains in the tank. When the quantity of grain is decreased below a preset level during the work of the discharging means 9 while the command to take the protruded posture of the protrusion part 12 is being transmitted by the switch, the protrusion part 12 is temporarily retreated and then returned to the protruded posture by the driving means D.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a combine ensuring the emergency stop operation during overhanging part's advance or retreat action to be made. CONSTITUTION:An overhanging part is attached to a tank for holding threshed and graded grains, and there provided with (A) an advance/retreat driving means D for putting this overhanging part to changeover driving between advancing and retreating attitudes and (B) a control means H to actuate said means D based on the advance or retreat instruction from a manual operating means SW1. Also, a push-button-type switch SW2 for giving stop instruction is provided, and the control means H stops the operation of the means D when a stop instruction is given. The means SW1 is a changeover switch in such a state that changeover position can visibly be identified, and the control means H actuates the means D when the switch SW1 is switched in such a state that the operation of the means D has been stopped by an instruction from the switch SW2.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine with which manual feed threshing work can be carried out in rainy weather and having a simple structure. SOLUTION: In this combine, a shade 10 for a drive unit is connected to a support material 14 extending from a pole to be rotative around the vertical axial core X of a machine. The shade 10 is adjusted to be in a shading position and a threshing cover position by rotatively operating the shade 10 around the axial core X. At the shading position, the shade 10 extends forward from the support material 14 and covers over the living space of the drive unit 3. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow easy maintenance of an engine in a large operation space by loading an engine supporting table on a body frame so as to be laterally movable on the space defined by the normal loading position and the maintenance position laterally extending therefrom. SOLUTION: An engine 10 and a radiator 11 are loaded on an engine supporting table 12 made of steel plate. The engine supporting table 12 is loaded on a guiding frame 13 connected to a body frame 2 such that the engine supporting table 12 is slidable in the lateral direction. During maintenance operation, the guiding frame 13 is disconnected from the engine supporting table 12, and then the engine supporting table 12 is drawn from the outer side surface of the engine hood that has been opened such that the engine 10 and the radiator 11 are exposed to the greater degree at the side of the vehicle body. Most part of the engine 10 can be exposed in the wide peripheral area during the maintaining operation. As a result, the operator is allowed to efficiently conduct the maintenance operation in a comfortable posture.
