More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for receiving a priority in a D2D communication system, the method comprising: receiving an RRC signal for configuring a radio bearer for relay packet reception with a downlink logical channel priority for the radio bearer; and configuring the radio bearer corresponding to the downlink logical channel priority based on the RRC signal, wherein a relay packet received from the radio bearer is transmitted to a second UE based on the downlink logical channel priority.

A method for transmitting a protocol data unit (PDU) by a user equipment (UE) via a device to device (D2D) link at a relay user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes steps of receiving the PDU from a remote UE via the D2D link; identifying a priority of a service data unit (SDU) from a payload included in the PDU; allocating the SDU to a bearer corresponding to the priority; and transmitting the SDU via the allocated bearer to a network.

A method and apparatus for transmitting an indication for coordination of 3rd generation partnership project long-term evolution (3GPP LTE) and wireless local area network (WLAN) in a wireless communication system is provided. In a cell-specific scheme, an eNodeB (eNB) transmits a first indication of WLAN offloading support to a mobility management entity (MME), and receives a second indication of applying different charging rules from the eNB. Alternatively, in a user equipment (UE)-specific scheme, the eNB transmits a first indication of WLAN offloading support to the MME, receives a second indication of which bearer can be offloaded or not from the eNB, and applyies offloading for a specific UE according to the second indication.

A method for processing a signal at a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes steps of receiving information on multiple first threshold values for a neighbor cell measurement from a serving cell; measuring the signal from the signal of the serving cell; comparing the measured signal with the multiple first threshold values and multiple second threshold values of a cell enhancement (CE) mode; and performing the neighbor cell measurement for a cell reselection or a change of the CE mode according to a result of comparing.

A method and apparatus for transmitting an uplink indication for extended discontinuous reception (eDRX) in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) detects that an event related to eDRX occurs, and transmits an uplink indication related to eDRX to a network. When the event related to eDRX is that an eDRX timer expires or an eDRX command indicating stop of eDRX is received, the uplink indication may indicate stop of eDRX. When the event related to eDRX is that no uplink data is to be transmitted, the uplink indication may indicate start of eDRX.

A method and apparatus for performing a cell selection or a cell reselection in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives information on whether a cell supports a relay functionality or not, and performs a cell selection or a cell reselection according to the information. If the information indicates that the cell does not support the relay functionality, the cell can be considered as barred for relay functionality.

A method and apparatus for performing a wireless local area network (WLAN) termination (WT) release procedure in a wireless communication system is provided. For the eNodeB (eNB) initiated WT release procedure, the eNB transmits a WT Release Request message to a WT via a Xw interface. For the WT initiated WT release procedure, the eNB receives a WT Release Required message from a WT via a Xw interface, and transmits a WT Release Confirm message to the WT via the Xw interface. The WT is a logical node that terminates the Xw interface.

A method and apparatus for deactivating a cell of an unlicensed carrier in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) deactivates a second cell when one of events occurs, and reports information on the second cell to a first cell. The first cell is a first serving cell on a licensed carrier, and the second cell is a second serving cell on the unlicensed carrier.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing access control for wireless local area network (WLAN) interworking in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives access class barring information for a traffic steered from a WLAN to 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) long-term evolution (LTE) from a network, and performs access barring check for the traffic steered from the WLAN to the 3GPP LTE using the received access class barring information. If a cell is not barred according to the access barring check, the UE transmits a radio resource control (RRC) connection request message to the network.
