    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a power switching circuit which prevents a short-circuiting accident due to an erroneous trigger of a static induction thyristor as a pair with a reverse current flowing diode by suppressing a time increasing ratio of a recovering current of the diode. CONSTITUTION:An inverter body has series circuits of static induction thyristors 11-16 and inductors 41-46 connected in a bridge. Reverse current flowing diodes 21-26 are connected in anti-parallel with the series circuits of the thyristors 11-16 and the inductors 41-46. A DC voltage source 3 is connected to a power source connecting terminal in the body. The thyristors 11-16 are controlled ON, OFF by a gate driving circuit.

CONSTITUTION:Each collector of an N-P-N transistor 3 and a P-N-P transistor 4 is connected on the high potential side and low potential side of a DC power 8 respectively while bases are and also emitters are connected mutually, the bases are used as input terminals while the emitters are employed as output terminals, and the output terminals are connected to the gate of an electrostatic induction thyristor 9. The DC power 8 is voltage-divided by two series resistors 5, 6, a capacitor 7 is bonded in parallel with the resistor 6 on the low potential side while the high potential side of the node is connected to the cathode of the electrostatic induction thyristor 9, and a semiconductor switch 10 brought to an ON state only for the OFF period of the electrostatic induction thyristor 9 is bonded in series with the resistor 5 on the high potential side.

A ball lens 6 is held between the spring 9 and the pin 15.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic drive type actuator which is adapted to an optical switch or particularly to a matrix optical switch and which has a small size/low power. SOLUTION: This electrostatic drive type actuator includes a movable member deformed by an electrostatic attraction force, a fixed member connected to the movable member, and a magnetic force attraction member for holding a shape in the state that the movable member is attracted. The fixed member has a connector connected to the movable member, and a fixed electrode part connected to the connector and having the form that a distance to the movable member gets longer toward the distal end of the movable member in a length direction. The movable member has a movable electrode part deformed by connecting to the connector, and a magnetic part mounted at the distal end of the movable electrode part at the opposite side of the connector and made of a soft magnetic plate. The magnetic force attraction member has a permanent magnet part for holding the magnetic part by a magnetic attraction force in the state that the movable electrode part is attracted to the fixed electrode part by the electromagnetic attraction force, and an electromagnet part for weakening the magnetic field of permanent magnet part.
