    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal insulator having high economy and wide usage by providing a heat insulating member in which a vacuum heat insulator is arranged and a cold accumulator arranged in a cold accumulating room. CONSTITUTION:In a cold accumulating heat insulator, a cooler 18 cools a cold accumulator, and when a prescribed temperature is realized, a cold accumulator temperature detector 21 operates to control a freezing temperature to be within a prescribed temperature range. By this, inside of a cold accumulating room 17 is kept at a lower temperature than inside of a thermal insulating room 5, but heat exchange between the cold accumulating room 17 and the thermal insulating room 5 is limited to be low because of thermal insulation by a cabinet 2. On the other hand, when charge of a battery and thermal insulation of the thermal insulating room 5 are started at the same time of cold accumulating operation of the cold accumulator 20, a thermal insulating room temperature detector 11 is operated to drive a thermal insulating fan 10 so that cooled air is introduced into the cold accumulating room 17. This introduction of the air inside the thermal insulating room 5 into the cold accumulating room 17 is continued until the thermal insulating room 5 has a set temperature. As a result of this, even during a cold accumulating operation, both refrigerating thermal insulation and freezing thermal insulation can be obtained by controlling cooled air volume supplied to the thermal insulating room. Thus, a cold accumulating thermal insulator having wide usage and high ecomony can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a cold heat accumulating type cold storage, high in economical property and wide in the range of use, by a method wherein the cold storage is provided with a detachable heat insulating member, such as hard polyurethane foam and the like a provided in a machine room, a vibration absorbing element, such as a rubber mount and the like arranged between the machine room and the heat insulating member, a refrigerating machine unit, installed in the heat insulating members and partitioned by p heat insulating walls, a cold heat accumulating chamber and cold heat accumulating agent arranged in the cold heat accumulating chamber. CONSTITUTION:A cold heat accumulating chamber 18 is kept at the temperature of about -40 deg.C, for example, which is lower than a temperature in a cold storage chamber 5, however, heat is insulated by a cabinet 2 below the main body 1 of the cold storage chamber whereby heat exchange between the cold heat accumulating chamber 19 and the cold storage chamber 5 is limited so as to be slight while an inflow port 6 and an outflow port 7, which are the openings of the main body 1 of the cold storage chamber, are provided at the lower part of the same and, therefore, cooled air in the cold heat accumulating chamber 19 will never flow into the cold storage chamber 5 by natural convection and, accordingly, the cold storage chamber 5 can be kept at a set temperature while cold storage matters will never be frozen. According to this method, apparatuses, having wide range of use, reduced in vibration and/or shock received upon loading, unloading or cold storage transportation can, be reduced remarkably and high in reliability, can be obained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a transporting person to use a cold storage type refrigerator only with a turning-on of its power supply by a method wherein a temperature of a refrigerating chamber is automatically controlled to an optional set temperature upon completion of storing cold heat with a cold heat accumulative agent. CONSTITUTION:A load of an electrical charging battery cell 46 (an aeration fan 30 or the like) is turned OFF with a timer means 52 after an optional time (after 5 hours, times t6 and t11) elapses after a power supply cord 40 is pulled out (time t5, t10), thereby an operation of the aeration fan 30 not required after transportation is stopped, so that a useless electrical discharging of the electrical charging type battery cell 46 can be prevented. In the event that a transporting person wants to prepare a refrigerating chamber 33 rapidly, the power supply cord 40 is inserted into the refrigerator in a time t7, thereafter a cold heat holding switch 52 is pressed and the cold heat holding chamber 33 is controlled to be kept at an optional set temperature under the same control mode as that of the freezing mode under an operation of an aeration fan control means 47 even during a cold heat storing of the cold heat accumulation agent 28. In the event that the transporting person wants to stop the cold heat storing operation, the cold heat holding switch 52 is pressed once again at the time t8 and then a temperature of the cold heat holding chamber 33 is stopped.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate purchasing and maintaining managements of a cold storage stock warehouse, and to effectively utilize an installation and staying space in a station by providing a second heat insulation box formed adjacent to a first heat insulation box, and a cooling chamber formed through a heat insulation plate in the second box. CONSTITUTION:A cold storage chamber cooling chamber 12 is held at a temperature(e.g., about -40 deg.C) lower than that in a cold insulation chamber 9 by cold storage operation, but a second heat insulation box 10 for forming the chamber 12 is formed of a cabinet containing a heat insulator. Since static pressures in the vicinities of a discharge air passage 24 and a suction air passage 25 as a connector of the first box 1 with the second box 10 both become positive at the time of operation of a cooling fan 19, the air is not invaded into the chamber 12 in the chamber 9. On the other hand, when cold accumulator 21 starts to store cold, a battery 31 starts charging and the chamber 9 insulates simultaneously. Thus, cold insulation and refrigeration insulation can be stored to effectively use an installation and staying space in a station.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To change over a temperature within a cold holding chamber easily by a method wherein an area for freezing a latent heat type cold accumulation agent having a different melting temperature and a melting temperature are varied. CONSTITUTION:A cold accumulating cooler 25 is mounted within a cold holding chamber 24 of a cold accumulation type refrigerator. The cold heat accumulation type cooler 25 is comprised of a high temperature cold accumulation type cooler 25a and a low temperature accumulation type cooler 25b. Each of the coolers has latent heat accumulation agents 26a and 26b having different melting temperatures and cooling pipes 27a and 27b for freezing the cold accumulation agent. In the case the cold holding chamber 24 is used at a low temperature, the device is changed over to a low temperature adjusting unit 33, a low temperature cold accumulation agent 26a and a high temperature accumulation agent 26b are cooled and frozen. In turn, in the case that the device is used at a high temperature, the device is changed to the high temperature adjusting unit 32 and only the high temperature cold accumulation agent 26a is cooled and frozen. With this arrangement, it is possible to facilitate to change a temperature within the cold accumulation chamber.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To lessen cooling load, considerably miniaturize a refrigerator unit and reduce power consumption by cooling and freezing necessary minimum chill accumulating agent in a chill accumulating chamber of small volume which is partitioned by an insulating partition wall during chill accumulating operation. CONSTITUTION:When a compressor 36 is operated, chill accumulating agent 22 is cooled by a cooler 23 to coagulate and the temperature of a chill accumulating temperature detecting part 40 becomes prescribed temperature less than freezing temperature, a chill accumulating temperature detector 39 is actuated and the operation of the compressor 36 is stopped. Since at this time it is sufficient if only a chill accumulating chamber 21 which is partitioned by an insulating partition wall 26 is cooled, cooling load can considerably be lessened. When an air fan 28 is operated, a chill cooled by the chill accumulating agent 22 is flowed out to the side of a cold holding chamber 29 from an air hole 27 and the cold holding chamber 29 is cooled. Cooling transporting goods 16 such as perishable foods are put in the cold holding chamber 29, the operation of the compressor 36 is stopped, and the foods 16 are transported to a destination. When during heat accumulating operation, outside air is less than the prescribed temperature (for example 10 deg.C), it is detected by an outside air thermostat 34, chill accumulating operation is performed while a heat accumulating heater 32 is turned on electricity. Heat accumulating agent 31 is heated by the heat accumulating heater 32.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a substantial narrow fin width without changing a bending pitch of a coolant pipe and to improve thermal conductivity by a method wherein two sets of heat exchangers to be used in an air conditioner or a refrigerator and the like are combined to each other. CONSTITUTION:The main body A of a heat exchanger is comprised of two sets of heat exchangers B and C. Each of the heat exchangers has a fin width (d) of about 1/2 of a conventional fin width and it is composed of several small piece fins 3 and 3' cut at a pitch (e) in a direction of air flow and coolant pipes 4 and 4' passing at a right angle with the small piece fins 3 and 3'. The coolant pipe 4 is passed at a lower position than a central part of the fins 3 and in turn the coolant pipe 4' is passed at a higher position than the central position of the fins 3'. The main body A of the heat exchanger is inserted and set such that a heat exchanger C is installed in a pitch (e) of a heat exchanger B, and both heat exchangers are connected with a U-shaped coolant pipe 5. In this way, since the heat exchanger is divided into several units with a fin width (d) of about 1/2 of a conventional fin width, a temperature interface layer becomes thin and a high thermal conductivity can be attained.
