Abstract: PURPOSE:To absorb vibratory energy of a closed case by viscousness of a vibro-isolating sealer and also to relax a noise in the closed case by coating it with the vibro-isolating sealer by coating the periphery of the closed case with the vibro-isolating sealer of rubber system and mounting a weight on the outside of this sealer. CONSTITUTION:An electric motor element 11 and a compression element 12 are built in a closed case 13. An enclosed terminal 14 for supplying electric power to the electric motor element 12 and an electric equipment cover 16 for coating an electric equipment part 15, arranged in this terminal 14, are mounted to the closed case 13. Here the closed case 13 and the electric equipment cover 16 are coated with a vibro-isolating sealer 17, for instance, of rubber system with 1.5 to 2.5 specific gravity, and further a weight 18 is mounted to the outside of the vibro-isolating sealer 17 in the vicinity of the closed case 13 of low rigidity. Vibratory energy of the closed case 13 is absorbed by viscousness of the vibro-isolating sealer 17 interposed between the closed case 13 vibrating and the weight 18 not vibrating. A noise, generated in the closed case 13, is relaxed by covering the case 13 with the vibro-isolating sealer 17.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of rasping noise at the time of start or stop of operation, and to enhance assembling workability by constituting a seat in such a way that a coil spring is screwed in a groove on the surface of the seat, and then an upper supporting projection is inserted into the inside hole of the seat. CONSTITUTION:A seat 8 has a groove 8a on its surface and a hole 8b on the inside thereof, and a coil spring 6 is screwed in the groove 8a, and then an upper supporting projection 5 is inserted into the inside hole 8b. By this constitution, at the time of start or stop of operation of a motor-driven compressor, although the motor-driven elements and compression elements are significantly vibrated by the force of inertia of rotation, since the coil spring 6 is screwed in, the contact sound of the spring 6 is not caused, and also the repulsive noise of the spring 6 is hardly caused, thus the occurrence of rasping noise can be prevented. Further, since the assembling work can be completed by inserting the upper supporting projection 5 into the hole 8a of the seat 8 after a lower support 4, the coil spring 6, and the seat 8 have been fixed, the assembling work can be facilitated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To attempt the orientation to the lowness of noise by providing a valve plate having a suction hole, a cap communicating with the suction hole and with small space formed, a suction tube secured to a closed case, a gas communication material and a resonance muffler opened to the small space. CONSTITUTION:When an electric motor element 3 is started to be driven, a compressor element 4 starts compression with compressed gas delivered from a compressor 1 and returned to a suction tube 12 from a refrigerating cycle. The gas, with no opening in a closed case 2 by a gas communication material 13 further with heat insulated, is sucked to pass through a through hole 10 of a cylinder head and a suction hole 8 of a valve plate 9, and the gas of large density is guided in a cylinder 6. A part of gas compressed again generates a reverse flow in the direction of the hole 8 and becomes blow back gas, and is absorbed by a resonance muffler 15, when it reaches small space 18 of a cap 17, therefore a gas pulsation is damped before the gas communication material 13 with no generation abnormal noise in the refrigerating cycle.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent heating of intake refrigerant gas, by a method wherein a cover pipe is secured to the outside of a suction pipe in a state to form a space, and the cover pipe is airtightly secured, in a position closer to a compression element than that of a vent hole, to a closed container. CONSTITUTION:A compression element 14 is secured to a closed container 11, and a rotor 15, with which a motor-operated element 12 is formed, is secured to a crank shaft 16. A cover pipe 19 is secured to a suction pipe 17 in a state to form a space 19c, and a closed container 11 is airtightly secured, in a position further close to the compression element 14 than that of a vent hole 19b, to the cover pipe 19. Transfer of heat to refrigerant gas in the suction pipe from high temperature high pressure gas in a closed container can be decreased, and intake refrigerant gas can be prevented from being heated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten the manufacturing time by forming a plurality of contacting sections on the outer circumferential face of an end shell to be fitted in a drum shell through shaving. CONSTITUTION:An endshell 3 having a fitting section 3a and a body 3d is fitted to the end of a drum shell 2 through light pressure insertion. A plurality of contacting sections 3c are formed by the shaving work section 3b of the endshell 3. A shaving die lowers to perform shaving work thus forming the contacting sections 3c. Consequently, the conventional machining through a lathe is eliminated thereby the manufacturing time can be shortened with the facility of fitting work being satisfied.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent rise in the temp. of a suction gas and improve the efficiency of energy by fitting one end of a coil spring or a flexible tube into the suction port of a suction muffler while press fitting and fixing the other end into the stepped part of a suction pipe. CONSTITUTION:One end of a closely wound coil spring 23 is engaged with the stepped part 21a of a suction pipe 21 via an engaging part 23a while the other end is fitted in the flange 22a of the suction port 22 of a suction muffler 20. By this structure, a heated gas in an enclosed case 1 is not sucked in from a gap between the coil spring 23 and the suction port 22, preventing rise in the temp. of a suction gas while improving the efficiency of energy.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of abrasion by inserting a collar made of the bored metal which is shaped into cylindrical form from the material having the nearly equal hardness to that of a coil spring into the suction passage of a cylinder plate and moving the spring in sliding on the surface of the collar. CONSTITUTION:A suction passage 8a extending in the axial direction of a cylinder plate 8 is formed on the cylinder plate 8, and a collar 13 having an opening which is made of the material having a nearly equal hardness to that of a coil spring 12 and formed into cylindrical form is arranged by utilizing its spring force, and the spring 12 for check valve is arranged inside the collar 13. With such constitution, when the spring 12 for check valve moves, the spring 12 moves in sliding on the surface of the cylindrical collar 13 having the nearly equal hardness to that of the spring 12, and the generation of abrasion can be prevented. Further, since the collar 13 is made of the cored metal and develops the function of filter, the need of a filter in a suction pipe can be avoided.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure the rapid valve opening action of a high pressure valve and improve assembling property and safety by providing a top-like high pressure valve which can close a high pressure side inlet port and a high pressure side outlet port simultaneously on one side while which can close a low pressure side port on the other side. CONSTITUTION:By electrifying a motor-driven element 52, a crankshaft 54 is rotated, causing a pressure drop in the low pressure chamber 61 of a compression chamber 60. A top-like high pressure valve 77 which can close a high pressure side inlet port 72 and a high pressure side outlet port 74 simultaneously on one side while which can close a low pressure port 76 on the other end face, is provided in a valve cylinder 75. And, even though the clearance between the valve 77 and the valve cylinder 75 is relatively rough, since the high pressure side inlet port 72 is closed, the pressure drop can be securely carried out in a short time. As a result, the pressure difference between pressure in an enclosed container 51 and pressure in the valve cylinder 75, acts on the top-like high pressure valve 77, enabling secure and rapid valve opening action of the valve 77. And, the good assembling property an safety of the top-like valve 77 can improve productivity.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure a rapid pressure drop on a low pressure side port which becomes a driving force for opening a high pressure valve by providing a cylindric a high pressure valve which can close both of high pressure side outlet and inlet ports simultaneously on one end face while which can close a low pressure side port on the other end face. CONSTITUTION:A high pressure side inlet port 72 is always connected into an enclosed container 51, a high pressure side outlet port 74 is always connected to a discharge pipe 73, and a low pressure side port 76 is directly connected to the low pressure chamber 61 of a compression chamber 60 by means of a pressure introducing passage 79. And, a cylindrical high pressure valve 77 can simultaneously close the high pressure side inlet port 72 and the high pressure side outlet port 74 on one end face, while it can close the low pressure side port 76 on the other end face. Thereby, the pressure drop of the low pressure side port 76 which becomes the driving force for opening the high pressure valve 77, can be carried out securely and in a very short time. Accordingly, it is possible not only to obtain a stable valve opening operation but also to improve machining accuracy and assembling property, improving productivity.

CONSTITUTION:A crank shaft 55 for driving the roller 9 of a rotary compressor is cantilered by a right housing 11. A side housing at the side not supporting the crank shaft 55 is formed with an annealed punching steel plate. The side housing or the side housing a board 56 can flex slightly through differential pressure thus to maintain a proper clearance between the roller 9 and a vane, thereby adjusting of the clearance or highly accurate machining is not required resulting in facilitation of manufacture of the rotary compressor.
