Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a short-circuit between a pin and a body by filling insulating resin for covering glass inside an airtight terminal, thereby depositing conductive material on the glass. CONSTITUTION:In an airtight terminal 1 airtightly fixed to a closed container 6, pins 5 are fixed by glass 4. In this case, insulating resin 10 for covering the glass 4 is filled inside the airtight terminal 1. Conductive material is thereby deposited on the glass 4 so as to prevent the generation of a short-circuit between the pins 5 and a body 2.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of a refrigerating cycle by providing a valve, in a compressor body, which is driven by a negative pressure in a low pressure chamber, and opening or shutting the flow passage connecting a condenser to an evaporator by means of this valve, so as to prevent the inflow of cooling medium into the evaporator during the stoppage of the compressor. CONSTITUTION:In a compressor body, a high-pressure valve 76 which is caused to open by a negative pressure in a low-pressure side port 75 communicating with a low-pressure chamber is provided. On the stopper part 100 of this high- pressure valve 76, an inlet port 71 of a piping 70 communicating with a condenser and an outlet port 73 of a piping 72 communicating with an evaporator are open, and it is so constituted that the communication between both ports 71, 73 is interrupted by the high-pressure valve 76 when the pressure in the low-pressure side port 75 rises. When the compressor is stopped, discharge gases flow into the low-pressure side port 75 via the low-pressure chamber, and the high-pressure valve 76 is brought into contact with the stopper part 100 by means of a spring 77 to prevent the inflow of cooling medium inside the condenser into the evaporator.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To install a protector simply without a fixture as well as to prevent any malfunction due to hot oil and a characteristic change attributable to stress at the time of assembly from occurring by installing a storage chamber, making a protector stowable, in a cluster block, and housing the protector in this storage chamber. CONSTITUTION:A cluster block 1, housing a receptacle 2 connecting a glass terminal to a motor element electrically, and a protector 36 for the motor element, etc., are installed in a hermetic motor compressor available for a refrigerating cycle of a refrigerator or the like. In this cluster block 1, there is provided with a protector storage chamber 1a housing the protector 36. In this constitution, the receptacle 2 and the protector 36 are installed in the cluster block after the specified wiring is over, and the cluster block is inserted into the glass terminal, whereby circuit connection of the compressor is carried out, while installation of the protector 36 is completed.

CONSTITUTION:In a motor protector 140, a movable portion 141 made of shape- memory alloy and a lead 142 are secured at a securing portion 143, and a movable contact 144 is provided at the movable end of the movable portion 141. A fixed portion 146 securing a fixed contact 145 and a lead 147 are secured at a securing portion 148 arranged at a position facing with the movable contact 144, and they are contained in a case 149. Upon abnormal temperature rise, the movable portion 141 made of shape-memory alloy deforms to separate the contacts 144, 145, thus opening a circuit.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate assembly by fitting the free length of the bias spring of a disk type high pressure valve which can be opened securely and rapidly, in a valve cylinder, and preventing its end part from projecting out of the end face of a cylinder plate. CONSTITUTION:A disk type high pressure valve 77 which can close a high pressure side inlet port 72 and a high pressure side outlet port 74 simultaneously on one end face while which can close a low pressure side port 76 on the other end face, is provided in a valve cylinder 75. Thereby, it is not necessary to reduce a clearance between a ball valve and a valve cylinder 75 on which the high pressure valve 77 slides as in the conventional case, carrying out the pressure drop of a low pressure side port 76 which becomes a driving force for opening the high pressure valve 77 securely and in a very short time. Accordingly, a stable valve opening operation can be obtained and, further, machining a assembling accuracy can be improved. Also, when the free length of the bias spring 78 of the high pressure valve 77 is fitted in the valve cylinder 75, since the end part of the free length is arranged not to project out of the end face of a cylinder plate 57, the valve 77 will not get in the way of assembling, thereby, facilitating the assembly.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure a rapid pressure drop in a low pressure side port which becomes the driving force for opening a high pressure valve by loosely fitting said high pressure valve which can close a high pressure side outlet port on one side while which can close a low pressure side port on the other end face, in a valve cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When starting, a crankshaft 54 is rotated by electrifying a motor-driven element 52, causing pressure drop in the low pressure chamber 61 of a compression chamber 60. A cylindrical high pressure valve 77 which can close a high pressure side outlet port 74 on one end side while which can close a low pressure side port 76 on the other end face, is loosely fitted in a valve cylinder 75. And, even through the clearance between the valve 77 and the valve cylinder 75 is relatively rough, since the clearance is sealed by oil, the pressure drop can be securely carried out in a short time. This pressure drop naturally causes pressure drops in a pressure introducing passage 79, the low pressure side port 76, and the valve cylinder 75. And, pressure difference between the pressure in the high pressure side inlet port 72, i.e., in an enclosed container 51 and the pressure in the valve cylinder 75, acts on the high pressure valve 77, enabling secure and rapid valve opening operation and, further, improving machining and assembling accuracy.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the exposure of a live part in such a way that can be simply and securely fixed, and to enhance workability by engaging the cut-and- raised part of a bracket with the engaging hole in the tunnel-shaped guide part of an electrical-equipment cover. CONSTITUTION:While a bracket 12 which has been fixed on the outside surface of a compressor body 11 and has a cut-raised part 13 is inserted into the inside of the tunnel-shaped guide part 16 of an electrical-equipment cover 14, the electrical-equipment cover 14 is inserted until the cut-and-raised part 13 is fitted to the engaging hole 17 provided on the outside of the guide part 16 so as to be opposite to the cut-and-raised part 13, so that the cut-and-raised part 13 is fitted to the engaging hole 17 to complete the fixing of the electrical- equipment cover 14. When the electrical-equipment cover 14 is removed, a tool such as a screwdriver is inserted into the tunnel-shaped guide part 16 and is twisted to disengage the cut-and-raise part 13 from the engaging hole 17, thereby removal is completed. In this case, it is so contrived that the inner wall of the tunnel-shaped guide part 16 abuts on the bracket 12 for preventing the deformation of the electrical-equipment cover 14, and that the cover 14 cannot be removed without a tool.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent heating of intake refrigerant gas, by a method wherein a cover pipe is secured to the outside of a suction pipe in a state to form a space, and the cover pipe is airtightly secured, in a position closer to a compression element than that of a vent hole, to a closed container. CONSTITUTION:A compression element 14 is secured to a closed container 11, and a rotor 15, with which a motor-operated element 12 is formed, is secured to a crank shaft 16. A cover pipe 19 is secured to a suction pipe 17 in a state to form a space 19c, and a closed container 11 is airtightly secured, in a position further close to the compression element 14 than that of a vent hole 19b, to the cover pipe 19. Transfer of heat to refrigerant gas in the suction pipe from high temperature high pressure gas in a closed container can be decreased, and intake refrigerant gas can be prevented from being heated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure the rapid valve opening action of a high pressure valve and improve assembling property and safety by providing a top-like high pressure valve which can close a high pressure side inlet port and a high pressure side outlet port simultaneously on one side while which can close a low pressure side port on the other side. CONSTITUTION:By electrifying a motor-driven element 52, a crankshaft 54 is rotated, causing a pressure drop in the low pressure chamber 61 of a compression chamber 60. A top-like high pressure valve 77 which can close a high pressure side inlet port 72 and a high pressure side outlet port 74 simultaneously on one side while which can close a low pressure port 76 on the other end face, is provided in a valve cylinder 75. And, even though the clearance between the valve 77 and the valve cylinder 75 is relatively rough, since the high pressure side inlet port 72 is closed, the pressure drop can be securely carried out in a short time. As a result, the pressure difference between pressure in an enclosed container 51 and pressure in the valve cylinder 75, acts on the top-like high pressure valve 77, enabling secure and rapid valve opening action of the valve 77. And, the good assembling property an safety of the top-like valve 77 can improve productivity.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure a rapid pressure drop on a low pressure side port which becomes a driving force for opening a high pressure valve by providing a cylindric a high pressure valve which can close both of high pressure side outlet and inlet ports simultaneously on one end face while which can close a low pressure side port on the other end face. CONSTITUTION:A high pressure side inlet port 72 is always connected into an enclosed container 51, a high pressure side outlet port 74 is always connected to a discharge pipe 73, and a low pressure side port 76 is directly connected to the low pressure chamber 61 of a compression chamber 60 by means of a pressure introducing passage 79. And, a cylindrical high pressure valve 77 can simultaneously close the high pressure side inlet port 72 and the high pressure side outlet port 74 on one end face, while it can close the low pressure side port 76 on the other end face. Thereby, the pressure drop of the low pressure side port 76 which becomes the driving force for opening the high pressure valve 77, can be carried out securely and in a very short time. Accordingly, it is possible not only to obtain a stable valve opening operation but also to improve machining accuracy and assembling property, improving productivity.
