    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate the display of a list and a graph by providing a memory storing original information to a supply means of the original information, supplying the original information stored in the memory to an electrostatic recording head and displaying the information on an electrostatic recording sheet. CONSTITUTION:When a character or a list or the like drawn on an original is stored in a memory 22, at first a mode changeover switch 31 is thrown to the position of the pattern mode. Then the original desired to be stored is loaded to an original insertion port of the electronic blackboard and a storage switch 37 is depressed. Thus, the loaded original is read by an original read section 23. The original information is stored as a pattern in the write area of the memory 22. Then in case of displaying the pattern stored in the memory 22 on the sheet 1, at first, the mode changeover switch 31 is thrown to the position of the pattern mode and either of setting pattern selector switches 32-35 or a storage pattern selector switch 36 is depressed to select which pattern picture is to be displayed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To avoid ghost phenomenon and to improve the grade of the quality of displayed picture image by constituting an electroconductive layer of an anisotropic electroconductive layer having a resistance in a direction of arrangement of plural writing styli held higher than the resistance in the orthogonal direction to said direction of the arrangement. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric layer 23 charged by a recording head 4 by being faced opposing to an electroconductive layer 22 and styli is provided to a recording medium 20, and the electroconductive layer 22 is constituted of an anisotropic electroconductive layer having a resistance in a direction (x) of the arrangement of plural wiring styli held at a higher resistance than the resistance in the direction (y) orthogonal to the direction of the arrangement. Thus, a space between a selected control electrode and a stylus electrode is brought to a conductive state in the direction of relatively low resistance value of the electroconductive layer 22, in the writing stage of an electrostatic latent image onto the medium 20, permitting thus satisfactory writing. The influence of the electric voltage of the selected stylus electrode is shielded by the electroconductive layer 22 in the direction (x) which obtains a high resistance value in the direction of arrangement of the styli, so generation of ghost phenonmenon is avoided, and the grade of the quality of displayed picture image is improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form a small-sized, diverse liquid crystal device by installing a photodetecting element between transparent bases, driving a liquid crystal device, and putting the liquid crystal device in operation as a printer and further an image scanner in addition to a liquid crystal shutter. CONSTITUTION:The device 1 receives original reflected light passed through a convergent rod array lens 13 by the photodetecting element 7 of the device 1 and operates liquid crystal 6 as a liquid crystal shutter between the transparent electrodes 4 and 5 to obtain a desired copy image by the electrophotographic means composed of a photosensitive drum 21 arranged under the device 1. Then, image signals are converted into electric signals simultaneously or individually because of characteristics of liquid crystal and outputted to a memory device through a CPU to make the device function as the image scanner. Further, the device 1 is driven as the liquid crystal shutter which operates on the basis of external or internal image signals to obtain the functions of the printer based upon the electric signals.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To permit the plural times use of a ribbon by using a system in which the surface side of the ribbon coated with ink is heated and at the same time the back side of the ribbon is sucked by a suction roller in such a way that ink can permeate into the base material of the ribbon and the surface of the ribbon is smoothened. CONSTITUTION:In the first place, ink 3 is coated on one side of a base paper 2 to prepare a ribbon 1. The ribbon is then run in the direction of arrow A and the ink 3 is electrically charged by a corona charger 4. A heat roller 5 and a suction roller 7 are each turned in the directions of arrows B and C, and the binder and dispersion dye of the ink 3 are softened and sublinated or vaporized in such a way as to suck and permeate them into the base paper 2. Whereupon, the ink 3 electrically charged by the corona charger 4 and thereby the permeation of dye, etc. is accelerated by the electric force line of electric field generated between both the rollers 5 and 7. Then, calender processing is applied between the calender rolls 9 and 10. EFFECT:No unevenness in recording exists in recorded images.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form a platemaking material which is effective for laser platemaking at high surface hardness, high mar resistance and high surface smoothness. CONSTITUTION:Both of a melamine-base curing agent and urethane-base curing agent other than a base polymer are compounded with a composition for a printing block to form a platemaking material. A printing block of the sheetlike platemaking material is manufactured by performing a coating process applying the printing block onto a base, a precure process stiffening the composition for the printing block applied onto the base by an action of the melamine curing agent within the composition and an aftercure process stiffening the composition for the printing block applied onto the base after that by the action of the urethane curing agent within the composition. It is preferable that a protective sheet is laminated between the precure process and aftercure process.
