Unless the tape cassette is set to the holding part, the loading operation of loading mechanisms 162, 275, 290, 298, 303, 305, and 309 is not started. After the tape is led out of the tape cassette once, the holding state of holding mechanisms 66, 83, 84, 109, and 110 cannot be unlocked unless the led-out tape is taken up in the tape cassette 1. Thus, the small-sized tape cassette can be used in the VTR for normal-sized tape cassette.

On the other hand, when photographing in an infrared movie mode at the dark place, by pushing down the camera mode change-over switch 5 to the lower side, the infrared ray light is lit up and the infrared ray removing filter 9 is removed from the front of the CCD image pick-up element 10. Thus, a distinct picture can be easily obtained at the dark place.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To accurately take out a desired cassette from a rack, by housing plural cassettes in a direction perpendicular to the rack, and displacing the rack corresponding to the displacement of an arm when it is displaced to the position of the cassette to be taken out. CONSTITUTION:By depressing an operating button to take out the cassette housed in a second cassette housing part 10, a cam gear 18 is turned at 90 deg. in a counterclockwise direction first, and the arm 5 and the rack 4 are turned at 4 deg. in the counterclockwise direction respectively. And the arm 5 and the second cassette housing part 10 are set at a state where they are linked on a straight line, and also, a pin engaging part 28 at the tip of a slider 27 is engaged with the slider engaging pin 30 of a cassette holder 29. Therefore, a screw shaft 31 is rotated in one direction, and the slider 27 is slided rightward, and pulls out the cassette holder 29 which houses a second cassette to the other end side of the arm 5. In such a way, it is possible to pull out the cassette smoothly from the cassette housing part.
