PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fiber sheet for preventing the principal plane of an optical disk from being flawed, from being peeled off. SOLUTION: The principal plane 135a is made to face a carrying area of the optical disk 2, and a pasting part 135 with an almost T-shaped cross section is formed, where an almost rectangular fiber sheet 136 longer than the principal plane 135a is pasted. In the fiber sheet 136, a middle part 136a is pasted to the principal plane 135a of the pasting part 135 through an adhesive 138, and a folding part 136b to be folded to a face opposite from the principal plane 135a is formed at both edges in the longitudinal direction of the pasting part 135 and wound around the pasting part 135 to be pasted. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unnecessitate a lock screw of a tape guide and to widen a selection range of materials which can be used for a guide base by mounting a plate spring between a guide base and a holding body of a tape guide. SOLUTION: The spring force of a plate spring 41 mounted between a guide base 40 and a vertical guide 11 of a slide member 10 is always applied to an under face of a holding body 47 of the vertical guide. Consequently, even when a holding force of a guide shaft 44 by a guide base 40 is lost by creep generated in the guide base 40, the vertical guide 11 is always energized in the upper direction by a spring force of the plate spring 41, and rotation of the vertical guide 11 is prevented. Therefore, the vertical guide 11 can be surely held without using a lock screw for locking the guide shaft 44 of the vertical guide 11, and a general material having less creep-resistance can be used as the guide base 40.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a spring tension adjusting amt. of a tension coil spring proportional to a moving amt. of a tension regulator arm. SOLUTION: One end of a tension coil spring 28 for spring-energizing a tension regulator in the direction of imparting back tension to a tape in a tape traveling system is supported by the tension regulator arm, while the other end can selectively be restrained by plural restraining parts 35a, 35b and 35c provided at stepwise different distances in a spring tension adjusting mechanism 29. Then, the spring tension adjusting mechanism 29 is capable of turning around a turning fulcrum axis 37, and the turning fulcrum axis 37 is set so as to be an operating point of spring tension of the tension coil spring 28.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tape cleaning mechanism for a recording and reproducing device which can perform cleaning operation of a magnetic tape with simple mechanical constitution without requiring a special driving source such as a plunger and the like. SOLUTION: In a recording and reproducing device of a VTR device, a tape cleaning mechanism 40 provided with a cleaning member 43 directly before or directly after of a tape guide 9 of a tension regulator 8 is arranged, the tape cleaning mechanism 40 can be moved to a cleaning position and a non- cleaning position by rotation of a cam gear linking to a tape running mode through a spring member 44 formed integrally with a cleaning body section 41. And when a tape running state is FWD running, a magnetic tape T is contacted to the cleaning member 43 and is in a cleaning operation state, when a tape running state is REV running, a running path of the magnetic tape T set to a tape guide is moved linking to elevation of tape tension, the magnetic tape is apart from the cleaning member 43 and is in a non-cleaning state.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension regulator mechanism for a recording and reproducing device applicable to a VCR device, etc., capable of effectively preventing a hunting phenomenon of a tension regulator arm by adding a simple member. SOLUTION: The tension regulator arm 8 has a tension coil spring 26 for spring energization in the direction of enhancing tape tension in a tape traveling system, and a damper sheet 35 is inserted into this tension coil spring 26 to come under the state of friction contact between them to give a damper effect in expansion and contraction of the spring. Consequently, resonance operation is prevented from happening to the tension regulator arm 8.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently increase the friction resistance of a rotation contact part and to shorten the accessing time of searching by supporting a rotary body in a rotational center axis via a bearing body. SOLUTION: This tape recording/reproducing device is provided with a rotary body 36, a reel lug 37, a height adjusting screw 38, a bearing body 39 and a coil spring 40. Reel bases 1 and 2 are rotated around a reel shaft 35, and a magnetic tape T from a supply side reel 5 is taken up on a take-up side reel 6. At this time, the rotary body 36 is rotated around the shaft 35 in the reel bases 1 and 2, and the height adjusting screw 38 and the bearing body 39 integrated to the rotary body 36 are also rotated integrally.

Abstract:
PURPOSE: To control tension as well as to prevent excessive tension by providing band brakes on both supply and take-up reels respectively and setting them to be a bite side when feeding and to be a relief side when taking up respectively. CONSTITUTION: When being an FWD mode, a tape coming out of the supply reel 1 is traveled via a guide post 29, a tension guide 27 and a tape guide 22a. Tension of a spring 36 is received by the brake band 38 at its moving end 38a via a tension arm 25, so that braking force is applied to a brake drum 40 of the supply reel 1, and the tension is imparted to the tape. When the tension is increased, the tension guide 27 is operated to weaken the braking force of the brake band 38 against the tension of the spring 36, and the tension of the tape is controlled to be constant. The fixing end 38b of the brake band 38 is so arranged that the brake should be on the biting side when feeding rotation, and hence on the relief side when taking up rotation to weaken the braking force.
