Abstract:
The Internet file access system operates with Internet files that have a dedicated address, and have a graphical index mark provided to provide information representing the address. An optical reader is provided to read the index mark, which is processed to extract the address for the file. Bar codes provide a suitable index mark that is easily read and interpreted. A data terminal connected to the Internet is provided with an internal server to create an Internet site that is accessible to other terminals connected to the Internet. Files are held on this server with the files identified by an address structured according to the Internet address protocol.
Abstract:
Various problems arise in accessing the Internet. For example, Internet files have complex file addresses which are prone to incorrect entry by a user, giving rise to access of unwanted files. In one aspect the invention solves this problem by encoding the file address in a bar code symbol, decoding the bar code symbol and accessing the relevant file automatically.
Abstract:
A wireless networking system includes a network appliance and at least one mobile device. The mobile device comprises an application module, a discriminating application programming interface (API) that is executable within the context of the application and configured to receive data related to execution of the application and to determine whether the data is of a type that is to be monitored, and a monitoring API that is executable within the context of the application and configured to extract the data if the discriminating API determines the data is of a type that is to be monitored. The mobile device further comprises a wireless agent configured to extract and transmit the monitored data to the network appliance.

Abstract:
A system and methods for detecting an operational problem on a mobile device and automatically resolving the problem with a coordinated execution of repair tasks on the mobile device and on the plurality of servers communicatively connected to the mobile device providing for a complex solution to an operational problem. The system can archive a history of corrective actions and their outcome for later analysis and reporting.
