Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the occupied area of a bar code part by preparing at least two light receiving parts and providing each light receiving part with sensitivity to light with a different wavelength. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting part 2 is a visible light source, the light receiving part 11 is constituted of a near infrared ray cut filter and a Si photodiode and the light receiving part 12 is constituted of an infrared ray transmitting filter and a GeAPD (avalanche photodiode). Respective light receiving parts 11, 12 have respective wavelength selectivity, visible light reflected and scattered by a bar code recording body and infrared fluorescence are respectively and independently sensed by the light receiving parts 11, 12 only by one scanning without being mutually interferred. Output signals from the light receiving parts 11, 12 are respectively decoded by a code conversion part 3 and respective bar code information can be read out.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the read rate of an identification mark by constituting an identification mark recording body of an information recording material to which the optical identification mark is given and a shape storage material. CONSTITUTION:The shape storage material 4 is used for a part of the identification mark recording body 1, and it is constituted of the information recording material 3 to which the optical identification mark is given. In such a case, at least a part of the identification mark recording medium is constituted of the shape recording material. Consequently, the recording body can be returned to an original shape, namely, the state of time when the identification mark is recorded by heating it more than a shape restoration temperature or removing external stress. Thus, the optical read rate can considerably be improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject fabric, capable of recording an identification mark on a high-density dense woven or knit fabric, etc., using ultrafine fiber as constituent fiber and clearly reading the mark with an optical reader and rich in durability. CONSTITUTION:A fabric for optically reading and recording a mark, obtained by hot-pressing a heat bonding film on a fabric using ultrafine fiber consisting essentially of ultrafine fiber of 1-0.0001d, e.g. a high-density dense woven or knit fabric (or nonwoven fabric), laminating and integrating both, then printing the integrated laminate with an identification mark symbolized in bar codes and subsequently peeling the aforementioned film, capable of optical reading and excellent in identification durability. A woven or knit fabric having >=1000 yarns/cm warp and weft density product and >=5000000 yarns/cm product of constituent fiber number is preferred as the aforementioned woven or knit fabric.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To display a multi-stage shift state with high operability and high economical properties by showing the information contents at a light transmissive part of a key top in accordance with the emission of a light source selected in response to an optional shift position of a multi-stage shift. CONSTITUTION:The corresponding light sources 2a-2c are selected in response to the shift position of a multi-stage key 1. The information 3a corresponding to the shift position is displayed at a light transmissive part of the key 1. Thus it is possible to obtain a keyboard containing the keys that can display the multi-stage shift state with high operability and high economical properties.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image forming processing speed without impairing the quality of an image by holding the surface temperature of the transfer part of an intermediate transfer body in any stage of an intermediate transfer process to be equal to or under the softening point of a toner image. SOLUTION: The surface of an intermediate transfer drum 31 is cooled by a cooling means 80 and the surface temperature of the drum 31 is kept equal to or under the softening point of the toner image. By preventing the toner image at the contact part of the drum 31 with a photorecpetor drum 11 from being softened, the reverse transfer of the toner image is effectively prevented and the density of the output image is prevented from being lowered. Especially, the surface of the drum 31 is always cooled, so that the reverse transfer of the toner image is effectively prevented even at the time of consecutive printing, and printing (image formation) need not be stopped in a period required to cool the drum 31 as in the conventional manner. Namely, the constitution of the device is made suitable for consecutive printing. Especially, in the case of forming the color image, the color component on the drum 31 is not reversely transferred to the drum at the time of transferring the next color component.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide an image density detecting sensor, an electrophotographic method and an electrophotographic device capable of forming a color image with appropriate color balance by improving the measuring accuracy for every color concerning the density of a toner image in a color electrophotographic system. CONSTITUTION: An electrostatic latent image on a latent image carrying medium 11 is developed with toner for every color, and a toner image is transferred on a transfer medium 31 or a recording medium S and fixed to be recorded as the color image. In such a case, a test image is formed on the latent image carrying medium 11, th transfer medium 31 or the recording medium S, and the density of the test image is measured according to the color of the test image by the intensity of the reflected light or the scattered light of detecting light. Then, the density of the recorded image is controlled based on the measured value in the image density detecting sensor, the electrophotographic method and the electrophotographic device 1.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To restrain a toner image from being reversely transferred in the case of laminating and transferring the toner image by electrifying the surface of an intermediate transferring medium to the same polarity as that of the toner image every time the toner image on a latent image carrying medium is transferred on the intermediate transferring medium. CONSTITUTION: A first electrifying means 2 uniformly electrifies the surface of the latent image carrying medium 1, and a pre-transfer electrifying means 5 electrifies the developed toner image and the surface of the medium 1 to the same polarity as the charge polarity of the toner image. By the pre-transfer electrification, the toner image is pressed by electric field strength, attracting force between the medium 1 and the toner image is increased, so that the flowing and the thickening of the toner image are prevented. Furthermore, a second electrifying means 8 evenly electrifies and processes the surface of the intermediate transferring medium 6 to the same polarity as that of the transferred toner image every time the toner image is transferred to the intermediate transferring medium 6 from the medium 1. The dielectric thickness of the surface insulating layer of the medium 6 is
