Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a resin composition having excellent moldability and suitable as a tube, wire-coating, etc. having moderate softness and flexibility, by mixing a specific polyester-amide with polybutylene terephthalate. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin composition is obtained by heating and kneading (A) 0.5-95wt% polybutylene terephthalate having a logarithmic viscosity of >=0.3 with (B) 5-99.5wt% polyester-amide having a logarithmic viscosity of >=0.3 and composed of (i) 20-85wt% butylene terephthalate unit and/or butylene isophthalate unit of formulaIand/or formula II and (ii) 80-15wt% amide unit of formula III (l is 10 or 11) and/or formula IV[R is (CH2)n (n is 6-10) or monocyclic aromatic ring; m is 6-12], e.g. an amide unit composed of 12-amino-dedecanoic acid, etc. and/or diamine component and dicarboxylic acid component.
