Abstract: PURPOSE:A polyester composition having improved tensile elongation, impact and heat resistance, and electrical insulating propevties, comprising a crystalline polyester, saccharose benzoate, and a crustallization accelerator. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 Parts by wt. of a crystalline polyester, e.g. polyethylene or poly-1,4-butylene terephthalate, is incorporated with (B) 1-30 parts by wt., preferably 3-10 parts by wt., of saccharose benzoate, e.g. saccharose mono- or heptabenzoate, and (C) 0.1-10 parts by wt., preferably 0.5-5 parts by wt., of a crystallization accelerator, e.g. talc, CaCO3, or sodium stearate.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prepare a polyester composition having excellent impact strength, heat resistance, injection moldability, transparency, dimensional stability, etc., by adding a polycarbonate resin to a high molecular weight ethylene terephthalate copolymer composed mianly of ethylene terephthalate unit. CONSTITUTION:An ethylene terephthalate copolymer composition having excellent physical properties, composed of (A) 100 parts by weight of an amorphous ethylene terephthalate copolymer wherein 7-40 mol% of the acid component is an acid selected from isophthalic acid I, a cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid II (COOH groups are O-,m- or p-positions), a diphenylcarbonate III (COOH groups are m or p-positions), and carbonic acid IV, and (B) 1-75 parts, pref. 5-50 parts of a polycarbonate (pref. derived from bisphenol A).

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyamide resin from which a molding having excellent molding processability and precision, remarkably excellent chemical resistance (oil resistance), flexural modulus, impact resistance, abrasion resistance, durability, sliding properties, etc., a polyamide resin molding using the same and to provide a method for producing the molding. SOLUTION: This polyamide resin for irradiation processing has >=2.2 ηr relative viscosity measured at 25 deg.C by using 1.0 wt.% concentration sample solution in 98% sulfuric acid and 2×10-5 to 6×10-5 mol/g theoretical terminal amino group amount. This molding is obtained by injection molding a resin composition comprising the polyamide resin (A) having >=2.2 ηr relative viscosity measured at 25 deg.C by using 1.0 wt.% concentration sample solution in 98% sulfuric acid and an organic compound (B) containing at least two polymerizable functional groups into a desired shape and crosslinking the molding by irradiation.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin composition capable of giving a molding having massive feeling, texture and gloss characteristic to porcelains, and at the same time having shock resistance and chemical resistance. SOLUTION: A resin composition consisting of (a) 31-50 wt.% of a polybutylene terephthalate resin, (b) 10-50 wt.% of a polyethylene terephthalate resin, (c) 0-20 wt.% of a polyester copolymer containing >=2 kinds of components in either one or both of the diol component and the carboxylic acid component, and (d) 10-46 wt.% of barium sulfate. The resin composition has excellent appearance, and pellets of the composition have a heating loss of %h0.5% when treated at 250 deg.C for 30 min.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin composition for enabling formation of a molding which has earthenware-like massive feeling, texture and gloss, and further, is excellent in chemical resistance, and impact resistance by compounding a polybutylene terephthalate resin, a specific polyester copolymer, and a glass bead. SOLUTION: A polyester resin composition comprises a polybutylene terephthalate resin of 10-50 wt.%, 10-50 wt.% of a polyester copolymer comprising at least two of either one or both of a diol component and a dicarboxylic acid component, and a glass bead of 10-70 wt.%. The polyester copolymer is preferable in that the diol component is selected from an ethylene glycol residual group and a cyclohexane dimenthanol residual group, and that the dicarboxylic acid component is selected from a terephthalic acid residual group and an isophthalic acid residual group. Further, in the case of selecting two of the ethylene glycol residual group and the cyclohexane dimenthanol residual group as the diol component, a molar ratio of the former to the latter is preferably 50-5 mole %/50-95 mole %.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor support made of a synthetic resin, having excellent mechanical strength and chemical resistance and capable of guaranteeing a smooth floor lifting operability by molding at least one of multiple tubular members which are relatively moved and expanded or shrunk in the axial direction with a polyamide resin composition containing a reinforcing material of a specific wt.%. SOLUTION: Press nuts 2, 2 are screwed to both end sections of a bolt 1, and stopper nuts 3 for stopping the loosening of the press nuts 2 are screwed inside to form this floor support. A polyamide resin composition mixed with a reinforcing material of 1-60 wt.% unto a polyamide resin is injection-molded into a completely round cylindrical shape to form the bolt 1, thus compressive strength is improved and can be kept at a high level under the high-humidity condition. Male screws 4a, 4b having opposite screw directions are provided at both end sections across the center section in the axial direction of the bolt 1. The polyamide resin composition mixed with the reinforcing material into the polyamide resin is likewise injection-molded into the completely round cylindrical shape to form the press nuts 2 and the stopper nuts 3.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high bending characteristic, color tone and lightweight quality by containing a polyester resin having a specific range of weight parts composed of cyclohexane dimethanol and an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, and one or more types of rod type inorganic substances within the specific range of weight parts. SOLUTION: A polyester resin composition is prepared through the process where 60 to 10 pts.wt. of glass fiber as one or more of rod type or acicular inorganic substances are blended, melted and kneaded with 40 to 90 pts.wt. of resin as a copolymer made of cyclohexane dimethanol and aromatic dicarboxylic acid consisting of 95mol% of telephthalic acid and 5mol% of isophthalic acid. This polyester resin composition is used and extrusion molded at the resin temperature of 300 deg.C and the die temperature of 150 deg.C, thereby preparing resin chopsticks. As a result, the chopsticks have a high bending characteristic, color tone and lightweight quality.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid-crystal polyester resin composition excellent in heat resistance, moldability and flowability and having high mechanical properties, high weld strength of a molding in particular, by blending a specified liquid-crystal polyester resin with a filler of a specified shape. SOLUTION: This composition consists of 99-20wt.% liquid-crystal polyester consisting of structural units of formula I [wherein X stands for at least one group selected from those of formula II; the carbonyl groups of structural units (IV) are at the p- or m-positions to each other, at least 50% of which are at the p-positions; and the total of the structural units (II) and (III) are substantially equimolar to the structural units (IV)], having a heat distortion temperature of 190-280 deg.C and a liquid-crystal initiation temperature of 330 deg.C or lower and forming an anisotropic melt phase with a melt viscosity of 10,000P or lower, and 1-80wt.% flaky or particulate filler. This composition is useful for a molded article having a weld part.
