Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a film which has good heat resistance in spite of its thinness and is suitable for various industrial applications in view of its good heat insulation by a method in which on both sides of a polyester film as a support, polyphenylene sulfide films which are thinner than the polyester film are laminated. SOLUTION: On both sides of a film of a polyester or a copolyester as a support film, polyphenylene sulfide films which are thinner than the support film are laminated. These films are preferably bonded together by adhesive force of 0.1-2.0g/cm to form a film laminate. Moreover, in the film laminate, a metal film can be formed at least on one side. When a laminated film structure is to be manufactured, in a coextrusion method, both T-die and inflation method are applicable. For lamination parts, all the methods of an adopter part, the inside of a die, and the outside of a die are applicable.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the degree of haze of a film by preparing 0.5-100 pts.wt. of a copolymer composed of polyethylene or ethylene with 50% ethylene content or more and another alpha-olefin and/or radical polymerized polar unsaturated compound. CONSTITUTION:A composition containing (A) 100 pts.wt. of crystal propylene- ethylene block copolymer composed of 0.5-60 wt.% of block polymer section containing 50-100wt.% of ethylene content and a propylene polymerized section containing 80wt.% propylene content or more or 99.5-40 pts.wt. of a copolymerized section composed of propylene and another alpha-olefin, (B) 0.001-1 pts.wt. of an organic peroxide of 10 hours of period of reduction by half and 60 deg.C decomposition temperature or more, and (C) 0.5-100 pts.wt. of a compolymer composed of polyethylene or ethylene containing 50% ethylene content or more and another alpha-olefin of radical polymerized polar unsaturated compound is prepared. A desired film is manufactured by using said composition.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase the printing speed of a thermal transfer foil and to enhance the sharpness of printing, hot stickiness resistance and drop-out resistance, by respectively setting the heat conductivity of a biaxially oriented polyester film in the thickness direction and the average surface roughness of the film to specific ranges. CONSTITUTION:A biaxially oriented polyester film is formed by stretching a polyester sheet or film in a non-stretched state by about 2.5-5 times in both of longitudinal and lateral directions and the heat conductivity of the film in the thickness direction is set to 0.30-1.00w/mK and the average surface roughness of the film is set to 0.06-0.25mum. By this method, the printing speed and printing sharpness of a thermal transfer foil can be enhanced. In the case of the thermal transfer foil much in the quantity of the heat energy from a thermal head, when a layer of mixture consisting of a thermoplastic and/or thermosetting resin and organosiloxane is applied to the back surface of said foil, hot stickiness resistance and drop-out resistance are effectively improved.
