The invention relates to an electrical stimulation device (1) with a stimulator (2), containing a generator (3) for generating electrical stimulation impulses with defined stimulation parameters, and a voltage supply (4) for supplying the generator (3) with electrical energy, and with at least two needle electrodes (5) for insertion into the skin surface of an area that is to be stimulated, which needle electrodes (5) are connected to the stimulator (2). According to the invention, the needle electrodes (5) are arranged in a common electrode housing (6) and are connected to the stimulator (2), preferably releasably, via a line (7).

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Ansteuerung von Motoren (3A, 3B) einer in einem Sitz (10), insbesondere einem Fahrzeugsitz, vorgesehenen Massageeinrichtung (2), wobei die Ansteuerung der Motoren basierend auf einem akustischen Unterhaltungssignal (4) durch eine Steuereinrichtung (6) vorgenommen wird, wobei ein erster Motor (3A) und ein zweiter Motor (3B) als ein Paar (8) angesteuert werden, und wobei die Ansteuerung der Motoren (3A, 3B) des Paars (8) abwechselnd vorgenommen wird. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ferner eine Steuereinrichtung (6), welche zum Steuern zumindest eines Paars von Motoren gemäß einem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren ausgebildet ist sowie eine Sitzanordnung (1) zur Durchführung eines solchen Verfahrens.

The invention provides for a medical apparatus (100, 200, 300) for treating cells of a subject comprising at least one transducer (102, 224) with a vibrating surface (116). The transducer further comprises an applicator (118, 600) for attaching the vibrating surface to an outer surface of the subject (108, 218). The transducer is operable to vibrate at a frequency between 10 Hz and 1000 Hz. The medical apparatus further comprises a controller (104, 222, 230) for controlling the vibration of the transducer. The controller is operable for causing the transducer to vibrate for greater than a predetermined period of time for treating the cells. The predetermined period of time is greater than one hour.

Achieving clinical benefits of remote ischemic conditioning without extended cessation of limb blood flow are advantageous due to lower required cuff pressure and reduced risk of clot formation in the limb vasculature.
