The invention relates to a glue spreading station (10) for spreading glue or adhesive (6) on workpieces in a desired format during the production of bags. The glue spreading station (10) contains a glue housing (5) which accommodates the glue or adhesive (6), an application roller (1) which is used to withdraw glue or adhesive (6) from the glue housing and to spread on the plate of the plate cylinder (3), said plate transferring the glue onto the workpiece (7) in the desired format. At least one metering roller (2) can be used to influence the amount of glue withdrawn by the application roller (1) from the glue housing. A counter-pressure cylinder (4) guides the workpiece during glue transfer of the plate cylinder (3). The glue spreading station further comprises spacer elements, for example spindles, which can be used to adjust the radial relative positions of the above rollers (1, 2, 3, 4) to control the glue spreading quantity. The spacer element can be driven by motors.

A method of continuous coating of metallic strip material carried into practice by using a continuous strip coating device wherein the thickness of the coating 27 is decided by a gap between a pickup roll 3 and a thickness control member 7 spaced apart a predetermined distance from the surface of the pickup roll. The method includes the step of (a) setting the pressure of the paint and/or the size of the gap based on the data obtained by preliminary experiments, or (b) directly measuring the gap 8 between the surface of the pickup roll 3 and the thickness control member 7 and feeding back the measurement, to bring the actual size of the gap into agreement with the value set beforehand at all times.

Disclosed are coating apparatus including flow coating and roll-coating that may be used for uniform sol-gel coating of substrates such as glass, solar panels, windows or part of an electronic display. Also disclosed are methods for substrate preparation, flow coating and roll coating. Lastly systems and methods for skin curing sol-gel coatings deposited onto the surface of glass substrates using a high temperature air-knife are disclosed.

Die Vorrichtung hat außerdem eine Leimauftrags-Walze (19) zum Auftragen von Leim auf die Wellbahn (5). Die Leimauftrags-Walze (19) ist der ersten Riffelwalze (7) unter Bildung eines Spalts (24) zugeordnet und ist gegenüber der ersten Riffelwalze (7) zum Beeinflussen der Leimauftrags-Menge verlagerbar. PURPOSE: A disposition structure of rolling and printing target, and a printing device, a printing system, and a printing method including the same are provided to reduce time required for implementing a printing process regardless of the generation of a back-up roll and a blanket roll. CONSTITUTION: A back-up roll(230) is prepared in a fixed state. A printing target(250) in contact with the back-up roll is supplied. The printing target and the back-up roll forms a contact face. A blanket roll(220) moves to approach the back-up roll or receded from the back-up roll. The first contact angle of the contact face is between 0 and 15 degrees. A second contact angle between the blanket roll and the printing target is a range, 180degrees minus the first contact angle.
