    Abstract: La invención se refiere a un procedimiento para preparar un copoliisocianopéptido funcionalizado con oligo (alquilenglicol), comprendiendo el procedimiento las etapas de: i) copolimerizar - un primer comonómero de un isocianopéptido funcionalizado con oligo (alquilenglicol) injertado con un grupo enlazante y - un segundo monómero de un isocianopéptido funcionalizado con oligo (alquilenglicol) sin injertar, en donde la proporción molar entre el primer comonómero y el segundo comonómero esde 1:500 y 1:30 y ii) añadir un reactante de una unidad espaciadora y un factor de adhesión celular al copolímero obtenido mediante la etapa i), en donde la unidad espaciadora se representa con la fórmula general A-L-B, en donde el grupo enlazante y el grupo A se eligen de modo que reaccionen y formen un primer acoplamiento y el factor de adhesión celular y el grupo B se eligen de modo que reaccionen y formen un segundo acoplamiento, en donde el primer acoplamiento y el segundo acoplamiento se seleccionan independientemente del grupo que consiste en acoplamiento alquino-azida, acoplamiento dibenzociclooctino-azida, acoplamientos de azida basada en oxanorbornad ieno, acoplamiento vinilsu Ifona-tiol, acoplamiento maleimida-tiol, acoplamiento metacrilato de metilo-tiol, acoplamiento de éter, acoplamiento de tioéter, acoplamiento biotina-estrepavidina, amina-ácido carboxílico resultante en enlaces de amidas, acoplamiento alcohol-ácido carboxílico resultante en enlaces de ésteres y acoplamiento de éster de NHS (éster de N-hidroxisuccinimida)-amina y en donde el grupo L es un segmento de cadena lineal que tiene 10-60 enlaces entre átomos seleccionados de C, N, O y S en la cadena principal.

    Abstract: Projection system for image projection of anatomical features on a subject. Intraoperative position markers (10) are disposed on a first body surface (6), and a moveable first detector (12) with a detection line of sight is provided. A control unit (14) is arranged for registering detected intraoperative position markers (10) with a plurality of preoperative position markers (4) in preoperative images. A movable projector (16) is provided for projecting an image representation (18) of the one or more anatomical features of interest. The projection line of sight is substantially parallel to the detection line of sight. The control unit (14) is in communication with the first detector (12) and projector (16) and arranged for real-time image projection of the image representation (18) on the second body surface (20) by the projector (16) independent from synchronized movement and varying detection/projection angles of the first detector (12) and the projector (16).

    Abstract: The present invention relates, in general, to prostate cancer. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method to diagnose prostate cancer in a, patient by detecting a PCA3 sequence, and more particularly a PCA3 RNA, the PCA3 sequence detected in a sample from the patient being specifically associated with prostate cancer. In a particular embodiment the method and kit enables an amplification of a PCA3 RNA through an exon-exon junction of a spliced PCA3 mRNA. The invention also related to methods and kits to detect such an amplified PCA3 RNA, using a probe which spans the amplified exonexon junction. The invention also relates to kits containing nucleic acid primers and kits containing nucleic acid primers and nucleic acid probes to diagnose, assess, or prognose a human afflicted with prostate cancer. In particular the methods and kits are designed to detect a PCA3 RNA which lacks one intron or more, and in particular case is intron-less.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to contrast agent enhanced medical ultrasound imaging. In particular, the contrast agents provided are useful for cell imaging and cell therapy, as well as in vivo targeting, drug delivery and perfusion or vascular imaging applications. More specifically, it provides a particle comprising a fluorinated organic compound and a metal. Such particles may be advantageously employed in qualitative or quantitative imaging such as acoustic imaging including photoacoustic and ultrasound imaging, MRI imaging, such as 19F imaging, 1H imaging including T1 and T2 weighted imaging, SPECT, PET, scintigraphy, fluorescence imaging and optical coherence imaging and tomographic applications. This may then be employed in cell labeling, microscopy, histology or for imaging vasculature or perfusion in vivo and in vitro.
