    Abstract: A structure of a drain chamber of a water pump is provided to increase the volume to be filled with coolant by allowing coolant to flows to an auxiliary chamber when a main chamber is fully filled. A sealing cap is press-fit to a main chamber(10) of a water pump such that the coolant drained from the water pump is prevented from being discharged to the outside. An auxiliary chamber(20) is arranged in a circumferential direction above the main chamber. A flow channel(30) is formed between the main chamber and the auxiliary chamber so as to allow the coolant to freely flow from the main chamber to the auxiliary chamber.
