PURPOSE: A method and a system for improving call drop caused by a radio link failure in a mobile communication system are provided to update an ANR(Automatic Neighbor Relation) in consideration of an RLF(Radio Link Failure)_before_HO by transmitting a generated log file after detecting the RLT_before_HO and generating the statistic data and optimize a handover triggering parameter in consideration of the RLF_before_HO. CONSTITUTION: A method for improving call drop caused by a radio link failure in a mobile communication system comprises the steps of: detecting an RLF(Radio Link Failure) occurring before handover triggering; generating a log file or statistic data according to the RLF happening before the handover triggering; updating an NRT(Neighbor Relation Table) and optimizing a handover parameter by considering the statistic data or the log file; allowing a target base station to receive an RRC(Radio Resource Control) reset message including a PCID(Physical Cell ID) and an RNTI(Cell Radio Network Temporary Identifier) from a corresponding terminal(130).

PURPOSE: A method and a system for managing neighbor relation in a wireless communication system are provided to improve the entire service quality by efficiently configuring a more stable network in an SON(Self-Organizing Network). CONSTITUTION: A synchronization control unit(307) determines the change of a stored NRT(neighbor Relation Table) of base stations through BS(Base Station) setting information of each module, and an NRT control unit(351) performs a BS adding procedure or BS removing procedure of the stored NRT of an NRT storage unit(352) through the information about the change of the NRT. A neighbor BS optimizer(353) performs the optimization of a transmission and reception signal with a neighbor base station.

The data receiving unit receives network coding data transmitted from downlink data and a relay from a base station(301). PURPOSE: A neighbor information providing method and a neighbor position information generation method for reducing overhead in a multi hop communication system are provided to reduce handover delay and reduce time and power in a mobile communication station. CONSTITUTION: A neighbor information providing method being performed in wireless communication network is as follows. A base station or a repeater station broadcasts the neighbor notify message in the wireless communication network(S1210). The neighbor information message toward the node of an abnormal is created in the base station or the repeater station takes counsel with the wireless communication network. The neighbor information message in which the base station or the repeater station produces about a node is transmitted with each node(S1220).

A mobile communication system and a joint resource allocation method for multi-station joint resource allocation and joint group handover are provided to select a multi cell in consideration of a traffic load of each cell to perform join resource allocation and joint group handover, thereby improving local corrosion and an asymmetry load phenomenon between cells. A mobile communication system(700) for multi-station joint resource allocation and joint group handover comprises a utility function processing unit(710), a critical set determining unit(720), and a resource allocation processing unit(730). The utility function processing unit processes a utility function which is each load element of a cell. The critical set determining unit determines a critical set based on the utility function. The resource allocation processing unit allocates resources by being aligned with another system corresponding to the critical set.

A multicast/broadcast service providing system AND a method thereof are provided to determine the expected arrival area of a user terminal by predicting the prospective location of the terminal. An arrival-expected zone determining unit(510) predicts the prospective location of a moving user terminal and determines the expected arrival area of the user terminal. A path generating unit(520) generates a candidate multicast path including one relay node which is included in the expected arrival area. A data transmission unit(530) delivers data to the relay node through the generated candidate multicast path.

A relay system and a data frame structure for the relay system are provided to transmit the data received from a transmitting device to a receiving device by using received wireless resource allocation information. A relay(200) includes a receiving unit(210), a transmitting unit(220) and a link state information generator(230). The receiving unit receives the first wireless resource allocation information about the first wireless resource and the second wireless resource allocation information about the second wireless resource from the transmitting device. The receiving unit receives first data from the transmitting device by using the first wireless resource allocation information, and the transmitting unit transmits the received first data to the receiving device based on the second wireless resource allocation information.

A method for providing neighbor information and a method for generating neighbor location information are provided to reduce power and time consumed for scanning neighbors performed by a mobile station and reduce a handover relay. A base station broadcasts a neighbor advertisement message(S1210). The base station transmits neighbor information message generated in consideration of a location of a connected relay station to the relay station(S1220). The relay station generates a new neighbor advertisement message including only a portion of neighbors on a list included in the neighbor advertisement message by using the neighbor information message(S1230). The new neighbor advertisement message is broadcast to downstream of the relay station(S1240).

A method and a system for relaying signals in a communication system are provided to increase system capacity and extend a service area by proposing a concrete signal relay operation process among a base station, a relay station and a mobile station, and minimize control message transceiving operations for uplink signal relay by enabling the relay station to determine whether to relay the uplink signals of the mobile station. In a signal relay method of a relay station(102) in a communication, the method comprises the following steps of: measuring signal quality of a mobile station(104); and enabling the relay station itself to determine whether to relay signals, transmitted from the mobile station, to a base station(100) in consideration of the signal quality(116). If so, the method further comprises a step of requesting the base station to allow relay of the mobile station signals(118).
