    Abstract: The cut-off frequenwithout degrading of the Pi filter is adjusted by altering the composition ratio of a ferrite and the diaelectric ratio of a diaelectric paste without degrading the impedance and loss character istics at high frequency range. The high loss ferrite (2) with length of 10 mm, inner diameter of 1.02 mm, and outer diameter of 2.34 mm is formed to outer of lead wire (1) and a diaelectric part (4) is formed to outer of the ferrite. A silver electrode is formed around the of the diaelectric part (4) and a soldering unit (5) is formed at the both ends of the filter. The ferrite composed of (Fe2O3)×(NiO)y (ZnO)w (CuO)z where x=49, y=9˜25, w=20˜35, and z=5,7 mol.%. is cofired under 900-950 deg.C..
