Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a stable superhydrophobic surface. Specifically, provided is a method for manufacturing stable superhydrophobic surface through fixation of carbon nanoparticle using paraffin wax or candle. The method comprises the steps of: coating paraffin wax for fixing particle on the surface of a substrate; and blackening the surface of the substrate coated with the paraffin wax with a flame of a candle of 400-750 °C to coat a superhydrophobic substance on the substrate.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for controlling droplets on a surface through local geomorphic changes using the property of a water drop which allows the water drop to roll well on a superhydrophobic surface. The present invention provides an elastomer having a superhydrophobic surface and a new method for controlling droplets using the same, comprising the following steps: Step 1 - manufacturing a magnetic elastomer to be used in an experiment; Step 2 - manufacturing and coating spray solution to make the superhydrophobic surface in Step 1; and Step 3 - controlling droplets using the elastomer having the superhydrophobic surface manufactured in Step 2 and a magnet, thereby allowing precise control of the droplets using the magnet on the manufactured device and moving the droplets of various sizes at a speed of 10 cm/s.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A metal plating method is provided which contains an etching process, an adsorbing process and a plating process. CONSTITUTION: The plastic surface is etched by a sulfuric solution containing 200- 360 g/l of CrO3 at 80-90°C, followed by adsorption of SnCl2 and PdCl2 orderly on the obtained plastic surface to strengthen an adhesion of the plastic surface and the metal. Obtained plastic is metal-plated to the thickness of 5- 50 micrometer for 10- 60 minutes in an electroplating bath containing a solution of nickel sulfate, NaPH2O2 and sodium acetate for example.
