Abstract: PURPOSE: A message transport system based on a high availability multicast transport is provided to easily exchange an RMTP(Reliable Multicast Transport Protocol) by minimizing the dependability of the RMTP. CONSTITUTION: An API module(122) offers API application program related with a message transport. An RMT(Reliable Multicast Transport) module(126) performs reliable multicast transport. A message transmission management module(124) transports the message delivered from the application to the RMT module. If the message transporting is failed, the message transport module reports the failure to a sender.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for flow mobility are provided to support flow mobility without exchanging an additional signaling by interlinking flow information with a binding cache entry. CONSTITUTION: A storage unit(110) stores a flow table, a binding cache entry, and a forwarding table. The flow information of a packet and a flow identifier are mapped and stored on the flow table. The flow identifier and a binding information of the access gateway is mapped and stored on the binding cache entry. The binding information and the output information are mapped and stored on the forwarding table. Abstract: An event transport system using an RMT(Reliable Multicasts Transport) is provided to supply functions requested from a high-available system with only RTM by which multicast transport is enabled. An event transport management module(120) transports an event message transported from an application program through an RTM module(130). When transmission errors exceed the threshold value of the RMT module, the event transport management module transports a transport failure message to a mail box of a receiver. When an event transport system(100) restarts, the event transport management module requests the transport of an event list to the event transport system of the other nodes.

Abstract: A system for controlling resource management and call admission on an access network, and a method therefor are provided to determine the availability of resources and manage the resources in the whole section of the access network in a call admission control process for the IP communication service of a user through the resource management of the access network and the hierarchical resource management of the access path of the user, thereby improving service control and service quality in an end-to-end section. A system for controlling resource management and call admission on an access network comprises a resource information construction unit(131), a location information extraction unit(132), a connection unit(133), a resource availability determination unit(134), and a bandwidth allocation unit(135). The resource information construction unit collects the resource information of all equipment configuring the access network and constructs the resource information of the access network hierarchically. The bandwidth allocating unit allocates bandwidth required to the IP communication service to a part of the link information and a residual bandwidth by service class to which the user belongs if the resources are available.

Abstract: A method for allocating bandwidth in an IP(Internet Protocol) access network in a broadband convergence network is provided to allocate a residual bandwidth to a guaranteed service preferentially and allocate a best effort service bandwidth to the guaranteed service when there is no residual bandwidth, thereby enabling a user to receive the guaranteed service and enabling a service provider to create various supplementary services. Abstract: An apparatus and a method for managing a forwarding information table according to the upgrading of software in a router system are provided to implement seamless packet forwarding, maintain QoS(Quality of Service), and improve system reliability by enabling necessary routing information for packet forwarding to be continuously maintained in a forwarding engine processor when the software of a routing processor is upgraded. An apparatus for managing a forwarding information table according to the upgrading of software in a router system comprises an upgrade management unit, a flag status change unit, a forwarding information table update unit, and a synchronization processing unit. The upgrade management unit, installed in a routing processor(101), requests a forwarding engine processor(102) to change the flag status of the forwarding information table when a routing protocol block(105) and a routing control block(104) stop. The flag status change unit, installed in the forwarding engine processor(102), changes the flag status of each entry of the forwarding information table according to the flag status change request from the upgrade management unit. The forwarding information table update unit, installed in the forwarding engine processor(102), receives a new forwarding information table from the routing control block(104) as the routing protocol block(105) and the routing control block(104) are rebooted, compares the entries of the new forwarding information table with the entries of the old forwarding information table, changes flag status for matched entries, and adds new entries to the old forwarding information table. The synchronization processing unit, installed in the forwarding engine processor(102), checks the flag status of each entry of the updated forwarding information table, and deletes an entry, of which the flag status is 'old', from the forwarding information table.
