    Abstract: A method and a device for data pattern recognition for data protection are provided to convert an original data into a safe form which is not to be analogized after an outflow of a converted original data. A data to be compared is inputted. The inputted data is converted into a template for pattern recognition, and a probe is generated(S1200). A gallery which is a registered template is called to determine whether a probe and a registered template are the same or not(S1210). If the hash values are the same, it is determined whether the coordinate of probe is inside the defined decision boundary based on the center point coordinate(S1240).
