Abstract:
An apparatus for acquiring initial frame timing at a terminal of an OFDMA(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Access) mobile communication system is provided to acquire the initial frame timing by using high transmission power. A normalization unit(520) calculates and normalizes power of samples of received signals. A cross power calculation unit(530) obtains products of the samples of the received signals and calculates cross power by using absolute values of the products. A divider unit(540) divides the cross power of the cross power calculation unit by the normalized value of the normalization unit. A peak value detection unit(550) detects and outputs the sample having the maximum value of the outputs of the divider unit with respect to the samples of the received signals within a particular window block. The next sample of the sample outputted from the peak value detection unit is set as a starting point.

본 발명은 다중 입출력 통신 시스템에서 로그도우비를 이용한 신호 검출 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에서는 수신 안테나를 통하여 수신된 신호들을 채널 특성을 토대로 재구성하는 단계; 재구성된 신호들을 토대로 각 송신 심볼에 대하여 발생 가능한 신호들에 대하여 1사분면의 신호 성상도를 구하고, 나머지 사분면들에 대한 신호 성상도를 구하여, 각 송신 심볼별 후보군을 획득한다. ML, M-ML, LLR, MIMO, MU-MIMO

공간 다중화 다중안테나 시스템(Spatially Multiplexed Multiple Input Multiple Output, SM MIMO)의 수신기에서는 추정한 채널을 이용하여 SM MIMO 시스템을 복수의 가상 SIMO(Single Input Multiple Output) 시스템으로 분해하고, 상기 복수의 수신 안테나를 통해 수신되는 복수의 스트림에 의해 발생하는 손실을 계산한 후, 복수의 가상 SIMO 시스템의 용량과 손실을 이용하여 각 스트림의 SINR을 예측한다. 이렇게 예측한 각 스트림의 SINR을 이용하여 ML(Maximum Likelihood) 검출기 또는 ML(Maximum Likelihood) 검출 기법의 성능을 보이는 검출기의 성능을 예측할 수 있다.

PURPOSE: A device and method for predicting a signal-to-interference and noise ratio in a space multiple antenna system are provided to simply predict a performance of a detector which show a performance of a ML detection technique in a space multiple antenna system. CONSTITUTION: A channel is presumed by using a plurality of stream which is received through a plurality of receiving antenna(S310). Capacity of a SM MIMO system is decomposed into a capacity of a plurality of virtual SIMO(Single Input Multiple Output) system by using the presumed channel(S320). Loss generated by a plurality of stream receives through a plurality of receiving antenna is calculated(S330). A SINR of each stream is predicted by using loss and capacity of a plurality of virtual SIMO system(S360).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A device and method for detecting synchronization and a signal using block data processing are provided to process signals using block data processing, thereby effectively initial synchronization and an initial signal under a channel environment with a lower SNR. CONSTITUTION: A vector/matrix generating unit(120) generates an accumulation matrix from a signal vector of an inputted frame unit. A main eigen vector extracting unit extracts a main eigen vector from the accumulation matrix outputted from the vector/matrix generating unit. A correlation vector calculating unit(150) calculates the correlation value between a time-shifted matrix and a main eigen vector outputted from the main eigen vector extracting unit. The correlation vector calculating unit outputs a vector for a correlation value. A time delay detecting unit(160) outputs delay time about detected synchronization time. A time delay vector calculating unit(180) calculates the correlation value between a basic shifted matrix and the main eigen vector. A signal detecting unit(190) detects current synchronization and a current signal.
