다채널 오디오 신호의 인코딩 방법 및 디코딩 방법, 그리고 상기 방법을 수행하는 인코더 및 디코더가 도시된다. 본 발명은 다채널 오디오 신호의 채널별 특징에 따라 할당된 데이터의 크기를 고려하여 인코딩을 수행함으로써 다채널 오디오 신호의 인코딩 효율을 향상시킬 수 있다.

Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for processing a frequency spectrum using a source filter. An apparatus for processing a frequency spectrum can include a first excitation spectrum generation part which generates a first excitation spectrum by using a tonal excitation spectrum and the gain of the tonal excitation spectrum; a second excitation spectrum generation part which generates a second excitation spectrum by using a non-tonal excitation spectrum and the gain of the non-tonal excitation spectrum according to an input signal; and an output spectrum generation part which generates an output spectrum by using the first and second excitation spectra.

부호화기의 부호화 방법이 제공된다. 부호화기는 입력 신호를 변환하여 제1 MDCT 계수를 생성하고, 제1 MDCT 계수를 양자화하여 MDCT 인덱스를 생성한다. 부호화기는 MDCT 인덱스를 역 양자화하여 제2 MDCT 계수를 생성하고, 제1 MDCT 계수와 제2 MDCT 계수의 차로 MDCT 오류 계수를 계산한다. 다음 부호화기는 MDCT 오류 계수를 부호화하여 오류 인덱스를 생성하고, 제1 MDCT 계수와 제2 MDCT 계수로부터 제1 MDCT 계수의 이득에 대응하는 이득 인덱스를 생성한다.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An encoder and a decoder for improving the sound quality in a G.711 codec are provided to reduce the error of quantization by encoding additional mantissa information based on a method has a smaller error of quantization between a static bit allocating method and a dynamic bit allocating method. CONSTITUTION: A G.711 encoding unit(110) encodes input sound signal based on a G.711 codec and outputs a G.711 bit stream. An enhancement class encoding unit(115) selects one method with the smaller error of quantization from a static bit allocating method and a dynamic bit allocating method. The enhancement class encoding unit outputs an enhancement class bit stream including additional mantissa information which is encoded based on the selected bit allocating method. A multiplexer(120) multiplexes the G.711 bit stream and the enhancement class bit stream.
