Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for correcting the errors of metering data. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method includes the steps of: detecting at least one unloaded data or singular data included in an energy profile by analyzing the energy profile and a customer profile; loading metering data corrected according to the type of metering data corresponding to the unloaded data in the energy profile; and correcting the singular data on the basis of the range of the loaded data included in the energy profile, and loading the corrected singular data in the energy profile. By the present invention, the method can improve further the reliability of the metering data. PURPOSE: A terminal capacity information based incompatible media content converting method and apparatus thereof are provided to effectively offer converted media content to other terminals by confirming the capacity information of a user terminal. CONSTITUTION: A service distributor(200) confirms the capacity information of user terminals. The service distributor transmits conversion information based on the capacity information. The conversion information requests for changing incompatible media content selected by the user terminals into compatible media content for the user terminal. A content conversion unit(300) changes the incompatible media content into the compatible media content.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for providing a contents service and a content providing sever device thereof are provided to convert the features and transmission rate of contents in a server in consideration of the performance and network bandwidth of each terminal. CONSTITUTION: A second server judges the conversion of selected contents of a first server(S20), and converts the selected contents according to connected-terminal information(S40). When converted contents is generated, the second server controls the transmission rate of the converted contents(S50). The second server receives network bandwidth information between the first terminal device and the second server(S60). If the transcoding and translating of the selected contents are completed, the second server transfers the converted contents to the first terminal device(S70).

PURPOSE: An HDMI apparatus using WLAN and H.264 compression/restoration and a method thereof are provided to compress image data entering HDMI into H.264 encoder, transmit the data to WLAN and transmit the received data into the HDMI. CONSTITUTION: An encoder(207) compresses image signal inputted through an HDMI(High Definition Multimedia Interface). An MPU(Microprocessor unit)(208) packages the compacted video signal. A WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) transmission unit(210) transmits the packaged video signal through WLAN. The MPU packages including the speech signal inputted through HDMI.

A method and a system for providing a good sleep service for a digital home service are provided to adaptively manage a condition change in the digital home service, and offer the digital home service without interference of a user by using information such as an intention of a sleeper and environment changes. A sensing information input part(100) senses and processes object information for a sleeping environment and the sleeper. An environment condition converter(200) interprets the environment condition by converting the object information into the condition information available in a computer system and manages the interpreted environment condition. An agent processor(300) receives/processes profile information of the sleeper, and processes a priority service resource by checking service configuration and available services based on the condition information and the profile information. A service processor(400) searches available service devices by receiving the available service information and operates the service according to a service request.

PURPOSE: A method of operating and maintaining a network for managing plural EPONs(Ethernet Passive Optical Networks) and a device thereof are provided to define a standardized OAM information packet structure and processing method for transmitting OAM information, and to exchange the OAM information by using TCP/IP, thereby removing inefficiency of a system. CONSTITUTION: In a standby state(501), if an EMS(Element Management System) server operates to receive OAM information in IPC message type(502), a system analyzes a header of an IPC message(503). The system decides whether the IPC message is from an EMS client or from an EPON OAM block by using an SNI(Source Node Identifier) among information of the header(504). If the message is from the EMS client, the system branches to an A1. If the message is from the EPON OAM block, the system branches to an A2.
