PURPOSE: A three dimensional service providing method is provided to enable users to effectively access multimedia which the users are immersed by extracting the connected media of files stored using a non-real time stream. CONSTITUTION: A terminal extracts additional image signaling information and an additional image from a received non-real time stream(S110). The terminal extracts a reference image signaling information and a reference image from a received real-time stream(S120). The terminal creates stereoscopic content including the reference image and the additional image based on the relationship information(S130). The terminal reproduces the stereoscopic content by synchronizing the images based on time information included in synchronization information. PURPOSE: A device for transmitting and receiving a non real time stereoscopic broadcasting service and a method thereof are provided to deliver a reference picture and an additional picture based on non real time, thereby providing a 3D broadcasting service. CONSTITUTION: A NRT contents encoder(211) encodes stereoscopic picture contents including a reference picture and an additional picture. A NRT is a non real time stream. The NRT contents encoder generates a non real time stream. A NRT signaling information encoder(213) generates NRT signaling information including at least one of a service map table and a non real time information table. PURPOSE: A non-real time performing method and an apparatus thereof are provided to request an error part of digital broadcasting content. CONSTITUTION: A file verifying unit determines whether an error part of non-real time service content is retransmitted. A re-transmitting request signal generating unit generates a re-transmitting request signal. The re-transmitting request signal is a signal for requesting retransmission of the error part. A return channel transmitting unit transmits the re-transmission request signal through a return channel network.

PURPOSE: A data transceiving device in a communication system and a method thereof are provided to efficiently supply a broadcast service to users who subscribe to a corresponding broadcast service. CONSTITUTION: Basic source units(202,206,208,212,214,218) generate broadcast data for each 3D broadcast service. First multiplexers(242,244,246) multiplex each broadcast data for each allocated broadcast channel. A second multiplexer(248) multiplexes each additional data for one common broadcast channel. First transmitting units(262,264,266) transmit the multiplexed broadcast data to each broadcast channel. A second transmitting unit(268) transmits encoded additional data to one common broadcast channel.

PURPOSE: A transmission device for a 2D mode generation in a digital terminal, a 2D mode reproducing device, and a 2D reproducing method are provided to improve image quality by using 3D related information. CONSTITUTION: A generating unit(910) generates additional 3D related information. The additional 3D related information includes identification information. The identification information shows an image suitable for a 2D mode reproduction among a reference image and an additional image. An identification information generator(915) generates identification information based on the format type of a 3D program. PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for multiplexing multimedia data are provided to variably multiplex multimedia data based on the size of a packet determined according to the attribute of the multimedia data. CONSTITUTION: Based on the attributed of multimedia data, a multiplexing control unit(520) determines the size of a packet variably. The multiplexing control unit determines an FEC(Forward Error Correction) type of the multimedia data variably. Based on the determined size and FEC of the packet, PSI(Program Specification Information) generation unit(540) generates PSI(Program Specification Information) data. A multiplexing unit(550) multiplexes the multimedia data and the PSI data respectively.

PURPOSE: A stereoscopic image data download service providing/receiving method of a digital broadcasting system and a device thereof are provided to provide 3D form advertisement and particular event thereby providing more vivid 3D still image service to a user. CONSTITUTION: A generator(912) generates information about the file names of the first image data and the second image data. A transmitter(914) transmits the first image data, the information about the file name of the first image data, t he second image data and the information of the file name of the second image data. The file name of the second image data includes the prefix showing the second image data among the stereoscopic video data.
