    Abstract: PURPOSE: A hydraulic damper of a steering gear box for a vehicle is provided to simplify the structure, facilitate control of damping force and tuning, and reduce scattering of performance. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic damper of a steering gear box for a vehicle comprises a body(101) forming a passage(102) through which hydraulic oil flows; a cut-off plate(105) rotatably installed around an eccentric hinge shaft; a first elastic member(107) elastically supporting a long shaft part of the cut-off plate, to give elastic force of a direction opposite to the forward input direction of the hydraulic oil; a second elastic member(108) elastically supporting a short shaft part of the cut-off plate, to give elastic force of a direction opposite to the reverse input direction of the hydraulic oil; a first restricting part restricting the long shaft part of the cut-off plate from rotating in the opposite direction of the forward input direction of the hydraulic oil; and a second restricting part restricting the short shaft part of the cut-off plate from rotating in the opposite direction of the reverse input direction of the hydraulic oil. The cut-off plate opens and shuts the passage while rotating according to the supply of the hydraulic oil.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A steering angle limit method for preventing slip of vehicle wheels is provided to prevent the wheel from slipping on the road surface by restricting the steering angle of a steering system according to the road surface condition. CONSTITUTION: A steering displacement angle is adjusted in not detecting vehicle speed, the steering displacement angle and an operating signal of an ABS(anti-lock brake system), and the vehicle speed is measured in detecting. The first step is selected with dividing the road surface condition into multiple steps. The critical steering displacement angle of the steering system is operated according to vehicle speed, the steering displacement angle and the road surface condition. The steering angle of the steering system is fixed with the critical steering displacement angle by comparing the calculated critical steering angle with the present steering angle, or returned to the first step by operating with the present steering displacement angle. Stability is improved with preventing slip by restricting the steering angle.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A power steering device for a vehicle is provided to improve balance in not operating a steering wheel. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle power steering apparatus is composed of a chamber(2) formed in a piston(52) and penetrated to a cylinder(53) via a through-hole(1), and a buffering unit installed in the chamber to generate repulsive force in flowing fluid into the chamber via the through-hole and to move the piston not promptly with supplying fluid. The buffering unit is repulsed and moved not to move the piston in applying hydraulic pressure to the piston, and the neutrality is generated with the traveling distance and the repulsive force. The buffering unit moves in the chamber, and has a slider(4) supported by an elastic spring(3) in both sides. Both springs have the same elasticity, and keep balance evenly in rotating by a steering wheel.
