Abstract: PURPOSE: An automated manual transmission is provided to prevent degradation of gear shift feeling, by removing torque decline phenomenon occurred during gear shift. CONSTITUTION: A first and a second planetary gear unit(PG1, PG2) comprise a rotary element supplied with rotary force from an engine(1). An input shaft(INPUT) receives the rotary force from the first planetary gear unit. An output shaft(OUTPUT) is arranged in parallel with the input shaft. A number of transmission gear pairs(3) make a pair with the input shaft and the output shaft. The number of transmission gear pairs form different gear shift ratio with each other.
