Abstract: PURPOSE: An emergency report system of a vehicle using a navigation system is provided to report rapidly an emergency state such as an accident state and an overturning state of the vehicle by detecting a stance and a state of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: The first GPS(Global Positioning System) receiver(1) is installed at a front portion of a vehicle body on the basis of a center point(C) having a latitude(X), a longitude(Y), and an altitude(Z). The second and the third receivers(2,3) are installed at a left and a right side of the vehicle body on the basis of the center point(C). A micro computer(4) receives a stance signal and a state signal and of the vehicle from the first to the third receivers(1,2,3) in order to determine an accident state and an overturning state of the vehicle. An accident report portion(5) is controlled by the micro computer(4). The accident report portion(5) reports the accident state and the overturning state of the vehicle to a base station(6).
