Abstract: PURPOSE: A theft preventing device of a vehicle is provided to maintain exacter locking state by simultaneously operating a parking brake device and brake devices of each wheel. CONSTITUTION: A theft preventing device contains a switching device of braking state to maintain a parking state and a braking state by giving tension into a parking brake cable(10) and supplying pressurized braking oil into brake devices of each wheel when a parking brake device and the brake devices are operated sequentially; a maintaining device of braking state to maintain the braking state when only the parking brake device is released; and a releasing device of braking state to release the parking state and the braking state of each wheel when a starting switch(36) is turned on and the brake devices are operated. Thereby, a vehicle is not driven by an invader and the vehicle is not pulled.
