    Abstract: PURPOSE: A fuel cell unit having a mesh layer is provided to enhance gas diffusion reactivity and performance of a fuel cell stack by coupling a mesh of a three dimensional structure to a metal separation plate having a channel part and a land part. CONSTITUTION: A fuel cell unit having a mesh layer is configured in order to form drain channels(50) of reaction gas and product water present between a land part(22) and a gas diffusion layer(16) by arranging a mesh(40) with a three dimensional structure between a separator(20) and the gas diffusion layer. The mesh with a three dimensional structure is woven by vertically crossing metal wires when watching in a planar direction.
