Abstract: A structure for protecting a vehicle engine from heat is provided to cool components arranged in the rear of the engine with the cold air generated from a cooling fan. A structure for protecting a vehicle engine from heat includes an air guide unit(10) arranged beneath a ladder frame or on an under cover of the engine so as to lower the temperature of components arranged in the rear of the engine through the cold air generated from a cooling fan arranged in front of the engine. The air guide unit has a U-shaped cross section for easily collecting cold air generated from the cooling fan, and has an end with a predetermined section which is rounded to guide collected air upward from the engine.

Abstract: A wire protecting device of a seat for a vehicle is provided to protect the wire by turning a rotating bar according to movement of the wire in moving the seat back and forth and guiding the wire with the rotating bar. A pin(11) is installed in a lower center of a seat, and combined with a center of a bar(12) turned to fasten a wire(13). The bar is turned according to movement of the wire in moving the seat, and a stopper(14) is installed in the pin to turn the bar within 90 angular degrees. The wire is contacted longitudinally along the bar and combined with both sides of the bar. The bar is rotated and guided by a guide plate(15) mounted to a pin assembling portion. The wire is integrally moved with the bar by arranging the wire along the bar and combining the wire with both sides of the bar by a clamp(16). The bar is turned in finely moving the wire extended to the seat or a floor while moving the seat back and forth.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A pivot mechanism for a vehicle wiper device is provided to reduce injury of the pedestrian caused due to the wiper device, by permitting the pivot shaft to escape downward by the axial impact upon occurrence of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian. CONSTITUTION: A pivot mechanism(30) comprises a pivot housing(33) for indentation of a pivot shaft(31). The pivot housing includes an upper housing(34) having a plate member(34a) fixed to a vehicle body; and a lower housing(35) having a plate member(35a) for supporting the pivot shaft and which is superimposed with the plate member(35a) of the upper housing. The upper housing and the lower housing are coupled with each other by a clip(40) for securing the plate members(34a,35a). The clip is released, the lower housing is separated from the upper housing by the downward load being applied to the pivot shaft, and the pivot shaft escapes downward upon occurrence of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
