    Abstract: The present invention is concerned with the new substituted .beta.-triazolyl oximes of the general formula I: I, where R1 and R2 are identical or different and each denotes alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, furanyl, thiophenyl, naphthyl, biphenyly, or phenyl, phenyl being unsubstitued or substituted by fluoro, chloro, bromo, alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, trifluoromethyl, nitro, or by alkoxy of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and R3 denotes hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkenyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, unsubstituted or halogen-substituted benzyl, -CO-R4, R4 denoting alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms which is unsubstituted or halogen- or alkoxy-substituted, or phenyl radical, or R3 denotes -CO-NH-R5, R5 denoting alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an aromatic radical. This invention is also directed to the preparation of these compounds. The compounds of formula (I) are used as active components in agents for regulating plant growth. A further object of the present invention is a process for regulating plant growth with these compounds.
