Abstract: Empleo de un ligando de difosfina, con dos dientes, de la fórmula general I en la que A forma, junto con el átomo de fósforo, con el que está enlazado, respectivamente un resto 2-fosfa-triciclo[3.3.1.1{3, 7}]decilo, en el que están reemplazados en caso dado uno o varios átomos de carbono, no contiguos, por átomos de oxígeno y que, en caso dado, está substituido, y X significa una cadena puenteante con 1 hasta 10 átomos, y una fuente de un metal del grupo VIII secundario en una proporción molar de al menos 5 para la obtención selectiva de n-aldehídos en un procedimiento, en el que, al menos, se hace reaccionar un compuesto con un grupo vinilo o con un grupo vinilideno en presencia de la fuente de un metal del grupo VIII secundario y del ligando de difosfina con dos dientes, con monóxido de carbono e hidrógeno.

An Independent claim is also included for the production of carbon-carbon and/or carbon-hydrogen (coupled) products using the composition (I).

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the carbonylation of n-pentenoic acid or derivatives thereof of formula (I), wherein R1 represents CN or COOR2 and R2 represents hydrogen, alkyl or aryl.
