The use of a mixture a) of a hydroxy-terminated polyether of the block structure (A) (EO)x1'–(PO)y1 –(EO)x1'', where y1 is 40 to 70 and (x1'+x1'') is 30 –60 and (x1' + x1'') / y1 is less than 1 (component A), and b) of a hydroxy-terminated polyether of the block structure (B) (EO)x2'–(PO)y2 –(EO)x2'', where y2 is 15 to 55 and ( x2' + x2'') is 2 –50 and (x2' + x2'') / y2 is less than 1 (component B), with (x1' + x1'') / y1 > (x2' + x2'') / y2, for solubilizing sparingly water-soluble active ingredients, having a water-solubility at 25 °C and 0.1013 MPa of not more than 5 g/l, in aqueous formulations.

The present invention provides a composition comprising a pesticide and a copolymer, which contains in polymerized form a N-vinyllactam (monomer A); an acrylamide (monomer B) selected from N-C- 1 -C 6 - alkyl acrylamide and N,N-di-C 1 -C 6 - alkyl acrylamide; and a C 1 -C 4 -alkyl (meth)acrylate (monomer C). Further on, it provides a process for preparing said composition by contacting the pesticide and the copolymer; a method for controlling phytopathogenic fungi and/or unwanted plant growth and/or unwanted insect or mite infestation and/or for regulating the growth of plants, wherein said composition is caused to act on the respective pests, their habitat or the plants to be protected from the respective pest, to the soil and/or to unwanted plants and/or the crop plants and/or their habitat; and a plant propagation material comprising said composition.

A composition and a method of preparing the composition are provided herein. The composition comprises an active substance and a polymeric additive comprising at least one unit represented by the formula (I): wherein each R is independently selected from the group of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, and combinations thereof; and Z comprises at least 10 units represented by the formula (II): wherein each R 1 is independently selected from the group of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, a carbonyl group, a hydroxyl group, an ether group, and combinations thereof and R 2 is a C 1 -C 10 hydrocarbon group. The polymeric additive further comprising at least one unit represented by the formula (III): wherein A is an alkyleneoxy from 2 to 10 carbon atoms.

The invention relates to a hyperbranched polymer comprising a) a hyperbranched polycondensate with hydroxyl and/or amino end groups condensed to b) one or more linking groups connected to c1) one or more polyethylene glycol monomethyl ethers and c2) one or more poly(C2-C3)alkylene glycol mono-(C8-C22)-alkyl ethers, wherein the weight ratio of components c1) : c2) is from 9 : 1 to 1 : 9. It further relates to a process for producing the polymer, to a composition comprising the polymer and an active ingredient, and to a method for controlling phytopathogenic fungi or undesired vegetation or insect or acarid infestations or for regulating the growth of plants.
