    Abstract: A fuel additive composition includes a polyalkenylsuccinimide, a mono or polyfunctional polyisobutene amine, and a carrier oil selected from the group of mineral oils, polyethers, polyetheramines, esters, and combinations thereof. The polyalkenylsuccinimide includes the reaction product of a hydrocarbyl dicarboxylic acid producing reaction intermediate and a nucleophilic reactant. The hydrocarbyl dicarboxylic acid producing reaction intermediate includes the reaction product of a polyolefin comprising C2 to Ci8 olefin units and having a number average molecular weight (Mn) of about 500 to 5,000 g/mol and a C4 to Cio monounsaturated acid reactant. The hydrocarbyl dicarboxylic acid producing reaction intermediate includes from 0.5 to 10 dicarboxylic acid producing moieties per molecule of the polyolefin. The nucleophilic reactant is selected from the group of amines, alcohols, amino alcohols, and combinations thereof.

Esta mezcla de aminas es adecuada para limpiar y mantener limpias las válvulas de admisión e inyectores en motores a gasolina.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an amine mixture comprising (A) a polyisobutene amine PIB(CH2)x(OH)m(NR2R3)n, where PIB represents a structure derived from polybutene or polyisobutene, R2 and R3 stand for hydrogen, aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon residues, primary or secondary, aromatic or aliphatic aminoalkylene residues or polyaminoalkylene residues, polyoxyalkylene residues, heteroaryl or heterocyclylresidues and x=0 or 1, m=0 or 1 and n=1, 2 or 3 and (B) an aliphatic amine R4-NR2R3, where R4 is a C6 to C600 alkyl residue, obtainable by reductive amination of a mixture of (i) the oxoproduct occurring during the hydroformulation of polybutene or polyisobutene and an alkanol R4-OH, or (ii) the epoxide an an alkanol R4-OH occurring during the epoxidation of polybutene or polyisobutene, or (iii) the nitro compound occurring during the reaction of polybutene or polyisobutene with nitric oxide and an alkanol R4-OH having ammonia or an amine HNR2R3. Said amine mixture is suitable for cleaning inlet valves and injection nozzles in gasoline engines and keeping same clean.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to innovative quaternized polyetheramines and to the preparation thereof. The present invention further relates to the use of these compounds as a fuel and lubricant additive. The invention also provides additive packages comprising these polyetheramines, and fuels and lubricants additized therewith. The invention further relates to the use of these quaternized nitrogen compounds as an additive for gasoline fuels, especially for improving the intake system cleanliness of gasoline engines.
