Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an element having a light output with extremely high luminance by providing a layer made of an organic compound and pinched between a pair of electrodes, and containing at least one kind selected from specific compounds in the layer made of the organic compound. SOLUTION: This organic compound has a structure expressed by the formula, and it has the prescribed substitutional group. An indium-tin oxide(ITO) is formed into a film at the thickness of 100 nm by sputtering on a glass substrate for use as a transparent support substrate. After the substrate is washed, N,N'-bis(3-methyl phenyl)-N,N'-diphenyl-(1,1'-biphenyl)4,4'-diamine (TPD) is vacuum-deposited 65 nm thick, the compound (all of R1, R2, R3 are phenyl) is vacuum-deposited 50 nm thick, and a Mg/Ag alloy with the ratio of 10/1 is vacuum-deposited 150 nm thick in sequence to manufacture a luminescence element. The degree of vacuum at the time of deposition is set to 3×10-6 Torr, and the film forming speed is set to 0.2-0.3 nm/sec for the organic layer and 1 nm/sec for metal electrodes.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain an extremely flat bonded part even in a wide thermoplastic resin film by superposing both end edges to be bonded of a film one upon another and holding a powdery resin between both end edges to perform ultrasonic welding. CONSTITUTION: The end parts of a film 21 are superposed one upon another and fixed to a base stand 23 by a clip 24 in such a state that a powdery resin 25 is held between the end parts. Next, the film 21 holding the powdery resin 25 between the end parts thereof is held between the tip part of an ultrasonic horn 22 and the base stand 23 at the position of the slit like opening part 26 of the clip 26. When ultrasonic vibration is applied to the film in this state while the end parts of the film are pressed, the film 21 and the powdery resin 25 held between the end parts of the film are melted by ultrasonic energy and, finally, a seamless endless transfer belt composed of the film 21 is obtained.

The carrier member for transfer material may be formed of a polymer electret only (a), or for the purpose of improving mechanical strength or durability, may have a structure of allowing a resin film of polymer electret to adhere on a base body 4 (b), or a structure of providing a protective film 5 on the base body 4 (c, d).

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent dusts and motes from adhering and to obtain the stable conversion efficiency of a solar cell, which is not deteriorated over a long term and is never reduced its light transmissicirty, by a method wherein a solar cell element and a protective layer are provided and the protective layer should contain conductive particles. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer 101 is provided on a substrate 100 which is used as an electrode and support, a transparent electrode 102 is provided thereon, a protective layer 104 is provided thereon via an adhesion layer 103 and a solar cell is constituted. The layer 104 is formed by a method wherein dispersion fluid obtainable by dispersing conductive particles, such as a metallic oxide, in a resin are applied on a solar cell element, are dried and desirably, are further hardened. It is desirable that the mean particle diameter of the conductive particles in the layer 104 is 0.3mum or smaller, specially 0.1mum or smaller. Thereby, as the resistance of the layer 104 can be arbitrarily controlled, dusts and motes are hardly adhered to electrostatic drops and a reduction in the conversion efficiency of the solar cell can be prevented without obstructing optical transmission.
