Abstract: PURPOSE:To prepare a membrane comprising a monomolecular or monomolecular cumulative film on a carrier, by bringing the carrier equipped with a wind- up means and a feed-out means into contact with a liquid surface on which the monomolecular film is developed. CONSTITUTION:A means for winding up a carrier 9 capable of being wound up in a roll form and a means for feeding out the same are provided and the carrier 9 is brought into contact with a liquid surface on which a monomolecular film is developed to prepare a membrane comprising the monomolecular or monomolecular cumalative film on the carrier 9. As a result, the membrane comprising the monomolecular film having an arbitrary cumulative degree can be formed on the flexible carrier such as a continuous sheet.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron emitting element with good reproducibility which has uniform electron emission characteristics and is favorably used as an electron beam source of an image forming device. SOLUTION: Each electron emitting element has an electron emission part 5 on an electroconductive film 4 striding over two element electrodes 2 and 3 installed on a substrate 1, wherein the substrate 1 is introduced into an atmosphere having an organic metal in gaseous phase, and the temp. of the substrate 1 is controlled lower than the temp. of the gaseous phase organic metal so that an organic metal film is deposited on the substrate 1 to form an electroconductive film. Thereby a number of electron emitting elements are formed into an array form to form an electron source to emit electrons in conformity to the input signal wherein the electron emitting characteristics of the electron emitting elements can be made uniform.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce burnt deposits when a bubble jet is discharged, and improve discharge stability and a high resolution applying property; by using a metallic salt peptide complex, formed of peptide wherein the metallic salt and two or more amino acid are condensed, as organic metal for material of a conductive film. SOLUTION: Opposite element electrodes 2 and 3 are formed onto a base plate 1, by a printed conductor, etc., constituted of e.g. metal or alloy such as Ni, Cr, and Au, etc., metal or metallic oxide such as Pd, Ag, and Au, etc., and glass, etc. A metallic salt peptide complex formed of peptide (wherein metallic salt and two or more amino acid are condensed), palladium acetate, and a glycyl glycylglycine complex, etc., are dissolved in water; to be applied onto the insulated base plate 1, forming the electrode 2 and 3, to be made a film. Then this film is heated and decomposed to form the particulate film (of a palladium oxide particulate between the electrodes 2 and 3) to manufacture a thin film 6, for forming an electron emitting part; and then electrification treatment is made to improve thermal and discharge stability.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new organoplatinum complex, an amino group-bearing. organoplatinum complex with the amine thermal dissociation temperature higher than the boiling point of the amine, soluble to organic solvents, causing no amine subdecomposition, and suitable as a material for electrodes, material for decoration, etc. SOLUTION: This new organoplatinum complex is shown by the formula [R1 to R3 are such that at least one of them is a (saturated, unsaturated, aromatic, straight-chain or branched) hydrocarbon group, the rest being H; the number of carbon atoms of R1 to R3 sums to >=10; X is a monovalent anion], with the amine thermal dissociation temperature higher than the boiling point of the amine, and useful as e.g. a material for electrodes, material for decoration, for e.g. electron-releasing elements, image-forming devices. This organoplatinum complex is obtained by the following process: two chemical equivalents of di-n-octylamine or the like is added to an aqueous solution of a compound of the formula K [Pt(II)Cl4 ], the whole system is then heated to 80 deg.C and agitated for 2h to carry out a reaction; the resultant system is brought to room temperature again and then subjected to extraction with chloroform; the resultant liquid extract is dehydrated and dried, followed by removing the chloroform from the extract.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To realize just-ashing and properly pattern a conductive thin film for surface-conduction type electron emission element by forming on the boundary between a resist and layer thereunder such a layer that emits fluorescence by ultraviolet ray and by performing UV/O3 ashing while the fluorescent intensity of a substrate is detected. CONSTITUTION: Prior to resist formation, a layer to emit fluorescence by ultraviolet ray is formed on a substrate. Since a low-voltage mercury lamp is used for a resist decomposing device using UV/O3 , a fluorescent layer is formed by using a substance (hereinafter referred to as 'marker') that emits fluorescence by the ultraviolet ray having its wavelength. The UV/O3 ashing is just- ashing which is performed while the fluorescence generating from a marker layer 6 is observed by using a device provided with a fluorescent intensity detection means. When ashing of an OMR resist 7 is progressed and ultraviolet ray is absorbed in the layer 6, an fluoresecence is emitted.

The metallic carboxylate should desirably be a metallic carboxylate solution dissolved in the ester of the same carboxylic acid as the metallic carboxylate.

CONSTITUTION:2,3,3-Trimethyl-indolenine of formula I is reacted with ethyl iodide and 1-iodo-5-dimethoxytrityl-2-deoxy-D-ribose of formula II (R is dimethoxytrityl, acetyl or benzyl; Ac is acetyl), separately respectively, to give a compound of formula III and a compound of formula IV and both the compounds are reacted in methanol. Then the reaction product is hydrolyzed to give a coloring matter of formula V similar to nucleotide, which is treated with 3' hydroxyl group of 2-cyanoethyl N,N,N',N'-tetraisopropylphosphadiamidite saccharide and phosphorylated to give the objective coloring matter such as objective DNA (RNA) probe containing a coloring matter, phosphate group and a saccharide.
