CONSTITUTION:0.02-3.0 pts.wt. of a product having a weight-average mol.wt. of 3000-500000 and obtained by reacting (A) a 1-4C alcohol-alkylene oxide adduct glycidyl-ether product of formula I (R is 1-4C alkyl; AO is 2-3C oxylalkylene group; (n) is 2-3000) or a 1-4C alcohol-alkylene oxide adduct halogenation product of formula II (X is Br, Cl, I; Y is H, methyl) with (B) a polysaccharide and/or its derivative in a weight ratio of 5/95 to 95/5 is added as a dispersing agent in an amount of 0.02-3.0 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of a cement. If necessary, a known dispersant such as a polycarboxylic acid salt is simultaneously used.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve a flow property and current retention property of a hydraulic composition by using a cement dispersant composed mainly of a specific formaldehyde co-condensate. CONSTITUTION:A formaldehyde co-condensate having a weight average molecular weight of 3000-100000 is obtained by reacting 5-95wt.% of the reaction product obtained from anlamino acid, an aromatic compound and 0.5-1.5 mole of formaldehyde with 95-5wt.% of a material of formula I or formula II (R1 to R4 are H or 1-3C alkyl; A1O and A2O are 2-3C oxyalkylene; n1 and n22 are 1-100) which is co-condensable with formaldehyde. The formaldehyde co- condensate is compounded with 5-95wt.% of a concrete dispersant, e.g. a co- condensate of naphthalene sulfonic acid salt with formaldehyde to obtain a cement dispersant. The cement is compounded with 0.05-3.0wt.% of the cement dispersant.

The formed copolymer has 1000-500000 molecular weight, contains (A)/(B) of (10-99)/(90-1) by wt.% and is excellent in dispersibility and slump holding property. Next, a concrete is obtained by adding 0.01-1.0wt.% cement mixing agent mainly compose of the copolymer into a concrete material.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance fluidity and to improve workability by additionally co- condensing a specified compound by formaldehyde and incorporating the obtained co-condensate as a main component. CONSTITUTION:Naphthalenesulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate (prepolymer) A having 6000-13000 weight average molecular weight is obtained by reacting naphthalene with formaldehyde. Then the prepolymer A, a compound B such as anilinesulfonic acid shown in an expression (X shows H and alkali metal) or sodium salt thereof and at least one kind of compound C selected from a compound containing hydrogen or lower alkyl (e.g. 1-6C straight chain such as methyl and ethyl or branched chain alkyl), a compound such as melamine and a compound such as urea are blended so that the constitutional molar ratio of components A, B and C is regulated to (0.1-0.3):(0.2-1.0):(0.2-1.0). Thereafter, formaldehyde is added at 1-5 moles for total mole number 1 of the components A-C and allowed to react therewith at pH4-11. Thereby, a cement admixture is produced which contains a co-condensate having 2000-50000 weight average molecular weight.

In the formula, R denotes H or lower alkyl; X denotes H, alkyl, carboxyl or its alkali metallic salt, sulfone group or its alkali metallic salt, OH or methoxy group; Y denotes carboxyl or its alkali metallic salt; groups Z denote H or -CH2SO3X (X denotes alkali metal), provided that at least two of the groups Z denote H. The formaldehyde adduct cocondensate to be used has a three-dimensional molecular structure and it is presumed that the slump loss can be reduced thereby.
