PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition excellent in stability and fluidity, given at a low cost, and capable of preventing its viscosity from suddenly increasing even when mixed with a small amount of water. SOLUTION: This liquid detergent composition comprises an emulsion composition and inorganic builder particles dispersed in the emulsion composition, wherein the emulsion composition is formed so that a surfactant phase which contains a nonionic surfactant and is optically isotropic (hereinafter referred to as the surfactant phase) exists in an aqueous solution phase which contains an electrolyte salt in such an amount as to make itself incompatible with the surfactant phase (hereinafter referred to as the aqueous solution phase) as droplets stabilized by a polymer which has a segment (A) having an affinity for the aqueous solution phase and a segment (B) having an affinity for the surfactant phase. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition comprises (a) water, (b) a builder composed of a water-soluble inorganic salt having a solubility to distilled water (kept at 25 deg.C) of >=0.5 g/15 g, and (c) a substance which is liquid at 25 deg.C and comprises one or more kinds selected from (c1) a surface active agent and (c2) a water miscible organic solvent at a specific ratio, a part of component (b) being partially present in the form of solids in the composition and, simultaneously, the composition has an electrical conductivity ratio, measured by a specific method, in a specific range.
