Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve fluidity, fluidity-retaining property and foamretaining property of a hydraulic composition by including a specific copolymer as an essential component of a concrete admixture. CONSTITUTION:0.1-50.0mol% of total amount of 0.1-50mol% of a monomer of formula 1 [R1 is H or methyl; (n1) is 4-6] and 99-50mol% of a monomer of formula II [R2 is R1; (n2) is 0-2; (n3) is 1-300; A0 is a 2-3C oxyalkylene; X is H or a 1-3C alkyl] is copolymerized with 99.9-50mol% of a monomer formula III and/or formula IV [R3 to R5 each is H, methyl or (CH2)mlCOOM2; Y is CO3M3 or formula V; M1 to M4 each is H, an alkali (alkaline earth) metal, ammonium or a (substituted) amino] in water and a 1-4C alcohol in the presence of an aqueous polymerization initiator to provide the concrete admixture consisting of a copolymer having 1000-500000 weight-average molecular weight (measured by gel permeation chromatography method/sodium polystyrene sulfonate which is a standard substance/water system). This concrete admixture is mixed with 5-50wt.% of a well-known admixture.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve foam stability by mixing a naphthalenesulfonic acid- formaldehyde condensation product with a formaldehyde condensation product of a compound expressed by specific formulas. CONSTITUTION:The dispersing agent for gypsum-water slurry is obtained by mixing the naphthalenesulfonic acid-formaldehyde condensation product (A) with the formaldehyde condensation product (B) and/or (C) of the compound having 1000-50000 molecular weight and expressed by the formula I and/or II in a weight ratio, (A)/((B)+(C))=(50-95)/(50-5) or (A)/((B) or (C))=(50/95)/(50-5). Next, 0.1wt.% dispersing agent aq. solution expressed in terms of solid matter per gypsum is added into the gypsum-water slurry made by mixing hemihydrate gypsum with water to obtain the gypsum-water slurry high in foam stability expressed by 7 formula III.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve a flowability by compounding a cement dispersion and nitrohumic acid and/or its alkaline metal salt at specific weight rations. CONSTITUTION:The cement additive for an ultrahigh pressure jet grouting method is obtd. by using the compsn. prepd. by mixing the cement dispersant consisting essentially of one or >=2 kinds among condensation product of naphthalene sulfonate and formaldehyde, polycarboxylate, polystyrene sulfonate, condensation product of phenoeic formaldelyde and condensation product of aniline sulfonic acid and formaldehyde, and the nitrohumic acid and/or its alkaline metal salt at 70 to 95/30 to 5 rations by weight as an essential component. A cement hardener having a high flowability is obtd. by adding 0.2 to 4.0 pts.wt. cement additive, a proper volume of water, intimate mixtures and various kinds of additives to 100 pts.wt. cement, such as blast furnace cement. The viscosity reducing effect of a mixture composed of a cement hardening material and clay material is remarkable.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce air bubbles by mixing a copolymer synthesized through polymerization of plural monomers each represented by a specified formula and/or its metal salt and a compound of a specified formula as the essential components. CONSTITUTION:A copolymer having 1000 to 1000000 weight-average molecular weight and/or its metal salt is obtained by polymerizing 10 to 99wt.% unsaturated bond-containing polyalkylene glycol monoester-based monomer represented by formula I [R3 to R4 are each H, methyl, (CH2)m2CO2M3, formula II, etc.] and 90 to 1wt.% acrylic acid-and/or unsaturated dicarboxylic acid-based monomer represented by formula III or IV (AO is a 2 to 3C oxyalkylene; R5 and R8 are each H or methyl; R6 to R7 and R9 to R10 are each H, methyl, (CH2)m7 CO2M5; (m1 to m7) is each 0 to 2; (n1 to n5) is each 3 to 500; M3 and M5 are each H, a univalent metal, etc.; M4 and M6 are a divalent metal; X1 to X5 is each H or a 1 to 3C alkyl]. As admixtures for concrete, the resultant copolymer and a compound represented by formula V (R1 to R2 are each H or a 8 to 18C alkyl; M1 to M2 are each an alkaline metal) are blended with cement respectively in an amount of 0,05 to 0.5wt.% and 0.0025 to 0.1wt.%.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate loss of air and to improve the durability, applicability and workability in freezing and thawing by condensing a specified compd. with formaldehyde. CONSTITUTION:A compd. shown by the formula (R is 1-6C straight-chain and branched-chain alkyls such as methyl, ethyl and hexyl, and X is alkali metals such as Na and K) is allowed to react with formaldehyde to obtain the reaction mixture. The mixture is then cooled to adjust the solid content, and an air- entraining agent consisting of the condensate having 500-5000 weight average mol.wt. is produced. A combination of the agent and a cement dispersant as the naphthalene or melamine high-performance water reducing agent is added, as required, to a hydraulic cement composition, etc.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a peeling agent of a concrete shuttering which reduces generation of bubbles on the surface of concrete and is superior in peeling properties from the concrete shuttering, by a method wherein alkyl ketene dimer and a nonionic surface active agent represented by a specific formula are compounded with a liquid water repellent substance. CONSTITUTION:A liquid water repellent substance such as mineral oil, animal and plant oil, oils and fats, fatty acid, silicone oil and praffin oil are used for this peeling agent of a concrete shuttering as base oil and the peeling agent of the concrete shuttering is prepared by compounding alkyl ketene dimer and a nonionic surface active agent represented by a general formula as mentioned on the right side with the liquid water repellent substance. The alkyl ketene dimer is obtained by reaction between fatty acid chloride and triethyl amine, in the formula, R represents 12-22C straight chain or branch chain alkyl group and the 3-10wt.% alkyl ketene dimer is compounded with the liquid water repellent substance. Then a matter whose HLB value is within 8-12 is used for the nonionic surface active agent.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve slump loss by using a cement admixture containing a co-condensate prepared by subjecting plural compound shown by specific general formulas and an amino-based polymerization terminator to addition co- condensation with formaldehyde. CONSTITUTION:Given amounts of compounds shown by formula I and formula II (R1 and R2 are 1-6C straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl; X is alkali metal) and an amino-based polymerization terminator shown by formula III, IV, V or VI (X2 and X3 are H, 1-3C alkyl, carboxyl, sulfone or alkali metal; Z1 is H, 1-3C alkyl, -CH2SO3M1 and M1 and M2 are H or alkali metal) are weighed, mixed with water and adjusted to proper concentration and pH. The solution is heated to about 80-90 deg.C, to which 0. 7-5 times as much formalin calculated as formaldehyde as the whole monomer is dripped. The compounds are subjected to addition co-condensation at pH 3-12 for a given time while stirring to give a co-condensate having 1,000-50,000 molecular weight. The co-condensate is used alone as a cement admixture or together with another admixture and mixed with cement.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a production of a cement dispersant. CONSTITUTION:This cement dispersant is produced by the following processes (1) and (2) in the production of the alkali metal salt of a naphthalenesulfonic acid-formalin condensate. (1) One mol of naphthalene is sulfonated with 1.12-1.17 mols of fuming sulfuric acid (expressed in terms of sulfuric acid). (2) Neutralization is carried out with the double salt consisting of one mol of sodium salt and 0.8-1.2 mols of potassium salt. As a result, the process for producing the dispersant is drastically simplified, and the cost is reduced. The dispersant has excellent dispersibility and is widely used in the field of ready-mixed cement, secondary products, etc.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the cement additive by blending the water-soluble salt of the homo(co)polymer of an unsaturated carboxylic acid with the water-soluble salt of formalin condensate of methylol compd. and sulfonated substance of melamine or the like. CONSTITUTION:Cement additive for superhigh jet filling technique described below is obtained by blending 70-5wt.% water-soluble salt (500-4000mean mol. wt., i.e., sodium polyacrylate) of the homopolymer or at least two kinds of copolymers of an unsaturated mono(di)carboxylic acid with 30-95wt.% water-soluble salt (i.e., formalin condensate of melamine sulfonate) of at least one kind of formalin condensate selected from methylol compd. and sulfonated substance of melamine, phenol, urea and aniline. The cement additive simultaneously has both performances of high fluidity of the hardening material and reduced viscosity for argillaceous material and satisfies reference viscosity (strength after 28 days is 30kg/cm ) and is used for an underground technique for improving weak ground. This cement additive is added at 0.2-4.0wt.% expressed in terms of available component for cement in the hardening material.
