Provided are a method and an apparatus for enoding/decoding a multi-view video using LDI. Specifically, provided are a method and an apparatus for enoding/decoding a multi-view video using LDI, which uses a linear decorrelation process to improve compression efficiency. The LDI encoding method according to present invention includes: (i) generating the LDI including multiple layers by using color and depth information of each viewpoint image of the multi-view video; (ii) performing linear decorrelation in each layer of the LDI; (iii) performing data aggregation in each linearly-decorrelated layer of the LDI; and (iv) encoding the aggregated data in each layer of the LDI to generate an encoded LDI bit stream.

PURPOSE: A multiple view image content generating apparatus and a method thereof in a parallel process are provided to reduce time for generating multiple view image content by synthesizing a virtual view point image. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of image synthesizing and processing units is operated in parallel. A plurality of the image synthesizing and processing units generates a virtual point image corresponding to a virtual point. A plurality of the image synthesizing and processing units performs multiplex of the virtual point image. An image integrating unit(40) integrates a plurality of images which are outputted from image synthesizing and processing units.

An apparatus and a method for reassembling a DOCSIS(Data-Over-Cable Service Interface Specifications) MAC(Media Access Control) frame in a cable modem having a plurality of receiving channels are provided to reassemble a DOCSIS MAC frame by extracting the DOCSIS MAC frame from MPEG2-TS packets. Downlink channel receiving modules(111,112) receive a RF signal, and outputs a MPEG2-TS packet signal. MAC frame reassembling buffer writing modules(121,122) store data to MAC frame reassembling buffers(141,142). MAC reassembling control modules(131,132) control a MPEG header and a point field. MAC frame reassembling butter reading modules(151,152) store one complete DOCSIS MAC frame to a MAC frame buffer. MAC frame buffer modules(161,162) store one complete DOCSIS MAC frame.
