A method and apparatus for indicating a logged multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) measurement availability in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) determines whether to inform a serving cell that the UE has logged MBMS measurement results to be reported based on a first condition and a second condition, and when both the first condition and the second condition are met, the UE informs the serving cell that the UE has the logged MBMS measurement results. The first condition corresponds to that the UE has the logged MBMS measurement results to be reported. The second condition includes at least one MBMS minimization of drive tests (MDT) related condition.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for handling radio access network (RAN) assistance information in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives first RAN assistance information for a roaming UE and second RAN assistance information for a nonroaming UE. According to whether the UE is the roaming UE or the non-roaming UE, the UE applies one of the first RAN assistance information or the second RAN assistance information. If the UE is the roaming UE, the UE applies the first RAN assistance information, and if the UE is the non-roaming UE, the UE applies the second RAN assistance information.

Provided are a method for performing, by a user equipment (UE), transmission via only a primary path in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus supporting the same. The method may include: configuring a split bearer, which has multiple L2 entities for both a master cell group (MCG) and a secondary cell group (SCG); when the UE transits from a first state to a second state, reconfiguring the primary path of the split bearer autonomously; and performing the transmission via only the primary path of the split bearer, wherein the primary path is related to an L2 entity for the MCG.

Provided are a method of changing status of WUS operation and a device supporting the method. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method includes: receiving system information for enabling a wake up signal (WUS) operation; enabling the WUS operation; receiving a WUS to monitor a paging occasion; receiving, in the paging occasion, control information informing that the WUS operation is disabled; disabling the WUS operation based on the control information; and monitoring a next paging occasion for a paging based on the disabled WUS operation.

Provided are a method of selecting carriers and a device supporting the method. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for selecting carriers in a wireless communication system includes: receiving information on carriers and Channel Busy Ratio threshold from a network; selecting at least one carrier of which CBR value is below the CBR threshold; selecting a resource on the selected carrier; and transmitting a medium access control (MAC) packet data unit (PDU) by using the selected resource of the selected carrier.

A method and apparatus for selecting a carrier for a sidelink communication in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives an indication of an aggregated set of carriers among multiple carriers from the network. The aggregated set of carriers may be aggregated based on a destination of the sidelink communication. The UE selects a carrier among the aggregated set of carriers, selects a resource of the selected carrier, and performs the sidelink communication by using the selected resource of the selected carrier.

A method and apparatus for performing sidelink transmission in an exceptional case in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives information on normal resource pools and exceptional resource pools on multiple carriers. The UE selects at least one normal resource pool among the normal resource pools on the multiple carriers, and performs the sidelink transmission by using the at least one normal resource pool. Upon detecting occurrence of the exceptional case, i.e. radio link failure (RLF), a handover, transition from an idle state to a connected state or change of dedicated sidelink resource pools within a cell, the UE selects at least one exceptional resource pool, which is mapped to the at least one normal resource pool, among the exceptional resource pools on the multiple carriers, and performs the sidelink transmission by using the at least one exceptional resource pool.

The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for performing radio link monitoring and failure procedure of multi beams operation in wireless communication system, the method comprising: measuring each of downlink radio link quality of multiple serving beams of a cell; sending a first indication to an upper layer of the UE when all the serving beams meet an out-of-sync condition; and sending a second indication to the upper layer of the UE when at least one serving beam meet an in-sync condition.

A method for discarding at least one packet by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes steps of storing the at least one packet received from an upper layer in a buffer; determining whether or not a number of packets in the buffer is equal to or greater than a threshold value; and discarding the at least one packet from the buffer when the number of packets in the buffer is equal to or greater than the threshold value.

A method for processing signals by a user equipment in a V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) communication system is disclosed. The method includes steps of receiving, from a network, a counting request message including information about at least one V2X service type and at least one V2X UE type; and transmitting a counting response message to the network, when a V2X UE type of the UE is included in the at least one V2X UE type, wherein the counting response message includes information about at least one of a location of the UE, a direction of the UE or a velocity of the UE.
