    Abstract: PURPOSE:To efficiently start a commutatorless DC motor by restarting the motor by timer means in a short time when the starting is failed and performing a protecting operation when the starting are failed continuously for a predetermined times. CONSTITUTION:The output of a counterelectromotive force detector 6 is input to a drive circuit 7 to drive semiconductor switching elements S1-S6 of a semiconductor commutator 2. This drive circuit 7 has operating means 7a, second timer means 7b, frequency detecting means 7c, modulo-N counting means 7d and first timer means 7e. When the commutator 2 fails to start, it is restarted in a short time, and when the failures of the starting continue for N times, it is handled similarly to a protecting operation.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the excess counting of positional signals on multiple pulses, and to detect the correct number of revolution by mounting a timer operating for a fixed time when at least one positional signal of the three-phase positional signals of a rotor-position detecting circuit varies. CONSTITUTION:A brushless DC motor 2 is driven by a drive circuit 3. A rotor- position detecting circuit 4 compares the primary-filter passing voltage of the terminal voltage of the brushless DC motor 2 and reference voltage, and outputs three-phase positional signals X, Y, Z, phase thereof differs at every 120 deg.C. A control circuit 18 counts the number of revolution of the brushless DC motor 2, and controls a voltage control circuit 7 in response to the count value. A timer 19 operates for a fixed time when at least one positional signal of the three-phase positional signals X, Y, Z changes, and prevents the counting of the number of revolution of the control circuit 18 during the operation of the timer 19.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a switching element from deteriorating by providing a protecting circuit for stopping a power supply of a drive circuit and outputting a signal when a power voltage supplied to the drive circuit decreases and when a heat detection switch operates. CONSTITUTION:Rectifiers 13a-13e are provided at the secondary side of a switching transformer 12. When a power source voltage V7 decreases due to certain cause, a voltage between the emitter and the base of a transistor 15a falls to cause the transistor 15a to become OFF, and a voltage V4 becomes 0. Since the voltage of a drive circuit becomes 0 in this manner, even if a controller outputs a signal, the semiconductor switching element of an inverter does not operates. Since a photocoupler 15e generates at its emitter a protection signal of L level, it can output a protected signal. When a heat detection switch 7 is opened, the transistor 15a is also turned OFF.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable energy saving setting by a single action in an apparatus in which temperature control of an air conditioner or the like is carried out by remote control wirelessely, by adding an energy saving setting switch on the transmitter side and an energy saving temperature setting circuit on the receiver side. CONSTITUTION:The transmitter (not shown) has a temperature controlling means and the energy saving setting switch. On the other hand, the receiver provided to the air conditioner main body has a receiving circuit 25 which receives the signal from the transmitter and outputs a temperature controlling signal and an energy saving setting signal, the receiving circuit 25 including a receiving element 16 and a decoding circuit 24. A temperature setting circuit 32 that will be set by a temperature setting signal and includes a plurality of temperature setting resistors 31a through 31e which will be switched by an analogue switch 30 is provided and also the energy saving temperature setting circuit 37 is provided which will be switched and controlled by a switching circuit 36 that is operated to be ON or OFF by an energy saving setting signal. Further, an operation and switching circuit is provided which is controlled by the outputs of the setting circuits 32, 27 and a room temperature detector 38.
