    Abstract: PURPOSE:To restrain the wear of the grooved inner wall surface of a cylinder by providing independent blind holes on the side of a vane. CONSTITUTION:An eccentric roller 3 is assembled on a shaft 2 to be rotated while making intimate contact with the inner wall of a cylinder 4 and pressure contact with the distal curvature part of a vane 5, so that the vane 5 reciprocates in the vane groove of the cylinder 4 according to the movement of the roller 3. The vane 5 is provided, with holes 5a formed on its side in which lubricating oil 6 is held when the vane 5 makes contact with the lubricating oil 6 received in the lower portion of a rotary compressor 1. Thus, the vane 5 supplies a sufficient amount of oil while reciprocating in the vane groove of the cylinder 4 to maintain the lubrication for the vane groove even when slide speed and load accompanying the high outputting of the compressor are increased. Thus, even if a high hardness antiwear property material is used for the vane 5, an oil film is formed between the vane groove of the cylinder 4 and the vane 5 so that the wear of the cylinder 4 is restrained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a high efficient compressor avoiding contact of a shaft with a main bearing and reducing a friction loss by providing a bush, freely tilting in accordance with deflection of the shaft, to be built in an end part of the main bearing. CONSTITUTION:A bush 13 is not rotated for a main bearing 8, and the axial center of the bush 13 can be tilted with respect to the axial center of the main bearing 8 by the amount of a diametric clearance between an outside diameter of the bush 13 and an inside diameter end part of the main bearing 8. While the total sum of the diametric clearance in internal and external diameters of the bush 13 is equally set to the conventional diametric clearance of the main bearing 8 and a shaft 5, further the diametric clearance of internal and external diameters is equally set. Accordingly, an external diameter part of the bush 13, generating no pressure of oil by rotation, comes into contact tilting with the main bearing 8, and decreasing an angle theta' formed by the shaft 5 and the bush 13, the shaft 5 and the bush 13 are placed so as to approach a more parallel condition.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To deform a boss section in response to a shaft, resolve the contact between the shaft and a main bearing, and prevent the damage of them by fitting a ceramic ring with high rigidity on the outside of the boss section on the main bearing of the shaft. CONSTITUTION:The shaft 5 of a compressor 1 is rotated by a motor constituted of a stator 3 shrinkage-fitted in a sealed shell 2 and a rotor 4. A rotor 6 incorporated in the shaft 5 is eccentrically rotated, the compression gas guided into a cylinder 7 through an intake pipe 10 is compressed. A lubricating oil 11 is fed to a main bearing 8 and an auxiliary bearing 9 of the shaft 5 through an oil feed pipe 12. In this case, a ring 13 made of silicon carbide is shrinkage-fitted to the boss section 8a of the main bearing 8. The rigidity of the boss section 8 is improved, the boss section 8a is deformed by the stress received from the shaft 5, the contact between the shaft 5 and the main bearing 8 is prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make heat conduct quantity to gas to be compressed reduce for making it possible to improve efficiency by forming a main bearing or an assistant bearing of metal material formed with a ceramic member in monobloc forming on faces on which respective bearings come to contact with a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 5 is rotated with a motor formed of a stator 3 and a rotor 4, and with eccentric rotation following that on a roller 6, is compressed gas to be compressed introduced into a cylinder 7 through a suction pipe 10. Here, a main bearing 11 and an assistant bearing 12 are respectively made integral with ceramic members 11B, 12B made of partially stabilized zirconia in specially low heat conductivity through monobloc casting of FC20. Namely, the main bearing 11 is cast with FC20 in ceramic member 11B formed in comblike on one side, and the main bearing 11 is formed on making a cast member 11A integral with the ceramic member 11B, thereon the cast member 11A and the ceramic member 11B are strongly combined together on account of difference on respective shrinkage factors.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To decrease force, which tilts a vane, so as to permit wearing in a cylinder groove to be low suppressed even when a compressor is in high speed rotation, by providing a cylinder forming its groove, which houses the vane, with the length of a suction chamber side larger than that of a compression chamber side. CONSTITUTION:In a cylinder 5, a grove, which houses a vane 3, forms a suction chamber side 5b in length larger than that of a compression chamber side 5a. In this way, the vane 3 is prevented from tilting by applying a pressure of gas to the rear end of the vane 3 from the compression chamber side 5a, and the cylinder, in which the vane 3 is brought into contact with the total surface of the suction chamber side 5b, disperses a load reducing wearing in the cylinder groove. While the cylinder, which disperses the load moderating a sliding condition of the vane 3 with the cylinder groove, reduces also wearing resistance, and a rotary compressor improves its efficiency due to a decrease of its input.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a compressor and reduce in input loss at a low cost even in a condition of low lubricity by giving an electroless cobalt- phosphorus plating to a shaft or a bearing. CONSTITUTION:An electroless cobalt-phosphorus plating is given to the faces which are brought into contact with a shaft 1 of a main bearing 4 and a sub- bearing 5, which are kept at 300 deg.C for one hour after plating and cooled, and these are assembled to a compressor with the plating faces being kept deposited. Then, the surface roughness of the cobalt-phosphorus layer is improved right after starting the operation of the compressor, enabling the surface roughness of the bearings 4, 5 to be less than 0.2mum without by way of machining. There by, even under a condition of low lubricity such as the application of low- viscosity oil or the reduction in the lengths of bearings, and the like, the contact of metals does not take place between the shaft 1 and the bearings 4, 5, improv ing the reliability of the compressor while reducing the input loss of the compres sor at the time of low load.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress an increase of the input loss at a low temperature by constituting a shaft with a material having a specific linear expansion coefficient and constituting bearings and a roller fitted to it with a material having a linear expansion coefficient less than a specific value. CONSTITUTION:The main shaft section of a shaft 1 is held by bearings 6, 7, and a roller 8 is fitted to the eccentric section of the shaft 1. The shaft 1 uses a material having a linear expansion coefficient of 9-14X10 / deg.C, and the bearings 6, 7 and the roller 8 use a material having a linear expansion coefficient of 5X10 / deg.C. Accordingly, the clearance between the shaft and bearings and roller is increased as the temperature is lowered, and the friction resistance is reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress thermal deterioration of oil and refrigerant, in a rotary compressor for refrigerator, by applying nickel galvanization onto at least one of a vane fixed in a groove of cylinder or a roller fixed to the eccentric section of shaft. CONSTITUTION:Upon rotation of a shaft 2, a roller 3 born on the eccentric section rotates while contacting tightly with a cylinder 4 and sliding on the curvature section at the tip of a vane 5 energized through a spring 6 so as to compress refrigerant. Said roller 3 and vane 5 are applied with nickel galvanization films 7, 8 of about 10mum thick respectively onto the surfaces thereof through non-electrolytic galvanization in order to suppress catalyst function on the surface of the vane 5 or the rotor 3 where the sliding condition is most severe to cause high temperature. Consequently, thermal deterioration of oil and refrigerant can be suppressed resulting in the improvement of the reliability of a rotary compressor.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the wear of a member opposite to a sliding member without deteriorating the lubricity by specifying the particle size of silicon carbide particles in a composite film formed on the sliding member by electroless composite plating. CONSTITUTION:When a sliding member is subjected to electroless composite plating to form an Ni-P-silicon carbide composite film or the like, the particle size of silicon carbide particles dispersed in the composite film is regulated to 0.1-5mum. This particle size is slightly smaller than the surface roughness of the sliding member to be plated, so when the matrix metal in the composite film is brought into contact with an opposite member, load placed on the silicon carbide particles is reduced and the wear of the opposite member can be reduced.
