Abstract: The present invention relates to an end plug (1) to be inserted axially into the centre of an end of a roll of paper, said end plug being provided with a holding element (3) adapted to hold and/or guide said end of said roll of paper in correct position in a dispenser. According to the invention said end plug (1) includes an outer sleeve (2) having an outer end and an inner end and said holding element is connected to said sleeve by means allowing the holding element to be axially moved from a first position to a second position, in which the holding element protrude outwardly from the outer end of said sleeve, said holding element being releasably held in said first position when moved thereto. The invention also relates to a roll of tissue paper comprising such an end plug and a dispenser provided with such a roll.

Abstract: A retention mechanism (1) in a dispenser for retaining an exchangeable roll of material, the retention mechanism (1) comprises a housing (2) including a front wall (21), wherein an insertion slot (4) for a bearing pin (80) of an end plug (5) of the exchangeable roll extends along the front wall (21). A cam lock (6) is arranged in the housing (2) so as to be rotatable in a plane which is parallel to the front wall (21) and to the direction of extension of the insertion slot (4). The cam lock (6) includes a retaining means (12) which is movable between an open position and a locked position by rotating the cam lock (6). When the retaining means (12) are in the open position, the bearing pin (80) can be inserted into the insertion slot (4), and when the retaining means (12) are in the closed position, the bearing pin (80) is retained in a locking section of the insertion slot (4).

Abstract: A dispensing mechanism (4) for a liquid container (10) arranged in liquid communication with an outlet mechanism for a liquid is provided. The dispensing mechanism (4) is adapted to translate a user force applied to a user operated portion (22) into a transfer force applied from a user lever (20) to an actuation part (18). A relationship between a first length and a second length forms a lever ratio. The first length extends from a first pivot axis (30) to a user operated portion (22) and the second length extends from the first pivot axis (30) to a point of action of the transfer force on the actuation part (18). The lever ratio is adapted to increase from a non-actuated position over at least the first 50% of a dispensing stroke of the actuation part (18) such that the transfer force increases over the at least first 50 % of the dispensing stroke when a constant force is applied to the user operated portion (22). A dispenser (2) for a liquid comprising a dispensing mechanism (4) is further provided.
