Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for a roll of web-form material such as paper, non-woven fabric or foil, in which the rotation of the roll on the shaft of the holder is restrained. SOLUTION: This holder includes a shaft 7 intended to be inserted in a center hole of a roll, so that the roll can be rotated round the shaft to unwind a web-form material. To provide braking of rotation of the roll, the shaft 7 includes at least one elastic member formed in the shape of a plate spring 10, which has one end fitted to the shaft and the free end projected from the shaft in the radial direction at a no-load position to increase the radial dimension, and the elastic member causes the spring action toward the shaft. The end of the plate spring 10 connected to the shaft 1 is intended to be inserted in a passage of the shaft inside the peripheral surface of the shaft and received therein. A lock means intended to co-operate with a corresponding lock means on the shaft is provided so that the plate spring 10 is locked in the axial direction on the shaft 7.

The present invention relates to a package containing a pile (P) of rolls of tissue paper having at least an end plug (1) to be inserted axially into the centre of an end of a roll of tissue paper, said end plug being provided with a holding element (3) adapted to hold and/or guide said end of said roll of paper in correct position in a dispenser. According to the invention said end plug (1) includes an outer sleeve (2) having an outer end and an inner end and said holding element is connected to said sleeve by means allowing the holding element to be axially moved from a first position to a second position, in which the holding element protrude outwardly from the outer end of said sleeve, said holding element being releasably held in said first position when moved thereto. The pile (P) is contained within a sealed bag.

A dispensing mechanism for a liquid container includes a hollow flexible dispensing portion and a dispenser. The dispensing mechanism includes a first lever arranged to pivot about a first pivot axis and a second lever arranged to pivot about a second pivot axis and includes a user operated portion. The first lever includes a first sliding surface and the second lever includes a second sliding surface. The first and second sliding surfaces bear in sliding abutment against each other at an abutment point. The first and second pivot axes are substantially parallel to each other, and a first plane extends through the first and second pivot axes. In a non-actuated position of the dispensing mechanism, the user operated portion of the second lever and the abutment point are arranged on a first side of the first plane. The first sliding surface at least at the abutment point, is convex and the abutment point remains on the first side of the first plane over at least a first ⅔ of a dispensing stroke of the first lever.

A dispensing unit and a dispenser are provided. The dispensing unit is adapted for use with continuous web material. The dispensing unit comprises a first roller arranged to rotate about a first axis and a second roller arranged to rotate about a second axis. A web path is provided through the dispensing unit and a portion of the web path includes a web passage defined between the first roller and the second roller. The first roller is displaceable between at least a first position and a second position, wherein a first distance is defined between the first roller and the second roller when the first roller is arranged in the first position, and a second distance is defined between the first roller and the second roller when the first roller is arranged in the second position.

A dispenser for rolls of flexible sheet material, each of the rolls having spindle elements extending axially outwardly beyond the ends thereof, wherein a first roll is located in a dispensing position. Alternatively, a second roll may be located in a reserve position. The dispenser further includes a stub roll position arranged to receive a first roll exhausted to a predetermined extent. Retaining elements are arranged on both sides of the stub roll position to support the spindle elements inserted into each end of a roll, wherein the retaining elements arranged for simultaneous release of the spindle elements when the dispenser is opened.
