Abstract:
A data transmitting apparatus, which disallows encryption to be easily decoded and enhances the secrecy of key information, includes an error correction coding process block (13). In the block (13), an input converting circuit (14) performs a logic operation with respect to information data from an interface circuit (12) according to key data. The converted information data is sent to an encoder (15) for generating parity data. The parity data is mixed (16) with the information data before conversion. The error correction coding block (13) sends the resulting data to a modulating circuit (17) for modulating the data. The modulated data is recorded on a disk record medium (20).

Abstract:
A signal recording/reproducing method and apparatus, a signal record medium, and a signal transmission/reception method and apparatus enable a signal recorded on a signal record medium to be identified as being an original signal or a copied signal. A CPU (11) generates, at a pre-set time interval, an identification signal having a meaning at a pre-set time interval, and an identification signal addition circuit (3) adds the identification signal to video signals and/or audio signals. A sector forming circuit (5) and circuit components up to a recording/reproducing head (14) record the video signals and/or the audio signals and the ancillary identification signal on an optical disc (12).
Abstract:
An incoming call transfer terminal for transferring to a third-party terminal a call-setting message coming from a calling terminal. The incoming call transfer terminal receives the call-setting message over a first communication channel from the calling terminal. Given the message, the incoming call transfer terminal generates a new call-setting message destined to the third-party terminal by keeping intact those parts of the original message which are needed to establish a through communication channel from the calling terminal to the third-party terminal; by also preserving such information unique to the calling terminal as a calling sub-address and a called sub-address to be transmitted unchanged to the third-party terminal; and by rewriting other parts of the original message to indicate that the call is being transferred from the incoming call transfer terminal. The calling number of the calling terminal is transferred as carried on the calling sub-address, called sub-address or user-user information. The call-setting message thus generated is sent automatically to the third-party terminal over a second communication channel.
Abstract:
A tone arm assembly for record players has first and second electro-magnetic motors operable for swinging a tone arm in vertical and horizontal directions, respectively, in respect to a record disc on a turntable, and a control circuit for controlling the first and second motors in such a manner that the tone arm is moved from a raised inoperative position to a lowered playing position, or from the lowered playing position to the raised inoperative position in response to control signals.
Abstract:
TURNTABLE ASSEMBLY FOR PHONOGRAPH RECORDS A phonograph record turntable assembly comprises a rotatable turntable having a rubber or other elastically flexible sheet overlying a substantial portion of its upper surface and secured thereto at least along an edge or edges of the sheet for defining at least one sealed interior space which contains a fluid material, preferably in the form of a viscous liquid, so as to provide a cushioned, vibration-damping record supporting surface which conforms to the shape of a warped or otherwise distorted phonograph record placed thereon. In order to avoid the accumulation of the liquid at any one portion of the interior space when the turntable is not horizontally disposed, such interior space may be divided into a plurality of liquid-containing compartments which are isolated from each other, as by partitions therebetween, and/or each interior space or compartment may further contain absorbent material which takes up the viscous liquid. The vibration-damping properties of the turntable assembly may be enhanced by providing solid particles which float in the viscous liquid.
Abstract:
A tone arm assembly for record players having a first motor for rotating a tone arm in the vertical direction, a second motor for rotating the tone arm in the horizontal direction with respect to a record disc, respectively, a detector for detecting low frequency vertical and horizontal vibrations of the tone arm during the reproduction of a record disc and feeding back an output signal of the detector to the motors so as to cancel the vibrations, whereby high fidelity reproduction of sounds can be performed. Further, the stylus pressure adjustment and elevation angle adjustment of the tone arm are also performed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the security in transmission of key information from an information providing side to a user side and to surely specify the user. SOLUTION: An information providing device 200 side distributes an information medium having encrypted information to a user terminal 400 side, the information providing device 200 is connected to the user terminal 400 through a communication network, and the information providing device 200 and the user terminal 400 transmit and receive information through the communication network. The information providing device 200 uses a user ID and a password belonging to the user terminal 400 to encrypt the key information required to decrypt encrypted information of the information medium, and the user terminal 400 uses the user ID, the password and a reader ID to decrypt the encrypted key information transmitted from the information providing device 200. In addition, the user terminal 400 uses the key information to decrypt encrypted information read from the information medium. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
