    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent hunting from occurring in a high-brightness state by providing a stop detecting means which detects a stop-down quantity and making the response of an iris control loop lower as the stop-down quantity is larger according to the detection result of the stop detecting means. CONSTITUTION:When a stop is rather closed to a stop-down quantity larger than a preset value, the output voltage of the stop detecting element 13 rises above a reference voltage and a comparing circuit 14 outputs a signal which turns on a switch 16. The parallel circuit of damping resistances R1 and R2 is therefore formed and the value of the resistance R(=R1XR2/R1+R2) of this parallel circuit becomes smaller than when only the R1 is provided, so that damping effect increases. Consequently, when the stop is rather closed in a high-brightness state, the response speed of the stop 3 is slowed down and hunting becomes hard to occur.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To remove the errors of operational amplifiers by integrating a bias input current by a dummy operational amplifier and applying the integrated output to the inputs of the operational amplifiers to be compensated through a coupling capacitor to cancel the bias input current. CONSTITUTION:When input switches S6-S8 are closed and reset switches S3-S5 are opened, the operational amplifiers OP2-OP4 integrate input signal currents i1-i3 respectively and output integrated outputs E2-E4. The operational amplifier OP1 is a dummy integrator for compensating the bais current, and at the opening of a reset switch S9, only a current IA corresponding to the bias current flows into the input of the OP1 and the integrated output E1 of the IA is outputted. The output of the OP1 is connected to respective inputs of the amplifiers OP2-OP4 through the coupling capacitors C2B-C4B. Consequently, the errors of the operational amplifiers can be removed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable accurate photometry eliminating the dependence of the photometry value on the temperature, by employing a time constant element with a better temperature characteristic to perform a range compression of the photometry value based on a CR time constant curve. CONSTITUTION:A photometry circuit is made up of a light receiving element 1 comprising photodiode, a reference current generation circuit 6 comprising a series circuit of a resistance R and a capacitor C, an operation amplifier 7, a feedback circuit 8 comprising a parallel reverse connection of diodes D1 and D2, a comparator 9 and a Schmitt trigger 10. Then, while a reference current IR is larger than the photocurrent IL flowing through the light receiving element 1 according to extraneous light, the output of the comparator 9 moves to a high level and as the reference current IR decreases and becomes less than the photocurrent IL, the output of the comparator 9 goes to the low level. Thus, the pulse output T with the logarithmically compressed time base corresponding to the photometry value is obtained and converted into a digital photometry value thereby eliminating the dependence of the photometry value on the temperature.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To compress a photometric value without any temperature dependency by providing an integrator which integrates the output of a photodetecting element, a reference generating circuit, and a comparator. CONSTITUTION:The output of the photodetecting element 1 is integrated by the integrator 5, whose lamp voltage output E is compared by the comparator 8 with the output ER of the reference generating circuit 7. Then, the intersection TW of the integrated value and a reference is detected and the comparison output is waveform-shaped by a Schmitt trigger circuit 8 to obtain photometric information which is compressed logarithmically and approximately and expressed as pulse width. Then, an output pulse T is inputted to a CPU and photometric data is obtained by measuring the pulse width. Consequently, the temperature dependency of the photometric value is eliminated by a time constant element which has good temperature characteristics.

Therefore, when photographing at the wide angle side, a wide scope around the camera is image picked-up. And in photographing at the telephoto side, mainly the same light as the illuminating light around the object rather than the light around the camera is made incident. Therefore, when shooting the object outside the house from inside the house, the light from the house illumination of such as fluorescent or incandescent lamps scarecely is made incident to the photo sensor 1, but the sunlight which is the same as the light illuminating the object mainly is made incident to the sensor to give a proper white balance.

CONSTITUTION:The phase of carrier chrominance signals is controlled and recorded on a recording medium 2 so that the frequency interleave can be done at adjacent tracks. The carrier chrominance signal and a luminance signal are reproduced by heads 1A, 1B and a horizontal synchronizing pulse obtained from the reproduced luminance signal is applied to an AFC circuit 62. An alternating signal synchronized with a horizontal synchronizing pulse is picked up from this AFC circuit 62 to control the phase of the reproduced carrier chrominance signal based on this alternating signal.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To smooth the mode switching and to eliminate the sudden change in the lightness at switching by using one operating means so as to attain the automatic mode at its intermediate position and the manual mode in other cases thereby applying the control of fixed gain and variable aperture and the opposite control in response to the operating direction. CONSTITUTION:A mode detection circuit 7 is discriminated in the automatic mode when an operating means (VR) is at the midposition and is the manual mode in other positions. In case of the manual mode, a signal being the result of arithmetic operation to the output of an aperture hold circuit 12 and the output of the VR is inputted to the control system via a control switching circuit 6 in case of the manual mode, and a signal being the result of arithmetic operation of the output of a gain hold circuit 18 and the output of the VR is inputted to a gain control system via a gain control switching circuit 10. In case of moving the VR from the midpoint to one direction, the aperture is opened while the gain of the gain control system is kept to the gain at the mode switching by the operation and the gain is increased after the aperture is opened fully. In case of operating the VR to the other position, the opposite control to above is applied as to the aperture and the gain.
